playing forward. The Wild claim to have opened up their game this year but after their slow start it appears they have gone back to defence first formula.
SJ vs DET Over 5.5 (-125) $125 to win $100
Two explosive offences collide tonight with two tomato can goalies. Osgood and Nabokov are easily two of the most overrated goalies in the entire league. Don't let their stats fool you, put them on a mediocre team they would be below average. Nabokov had a 4.26 GAA against DET last year and Osgood was shelled for 6 goals in his only appearance vs the Sharks last year. The over is also 7-3 in the last 10 meetings.
CAL (+100) vs STL $100 to win $100
I'm a little surprised the Flames aren't the favorites. The Blues have been strugglin big time at home this year. They are 1-5 in their last 6 at home with a pathetic 7 goals in 6 games including being shutout at home in their last 2 games. The Flames
are 4-1 in their last 5 trips to St Louis. The Flames will be a little tired after playing last night but until the Blues show me something I have to take the Flames as the dogs.
CHI vs PHO Under 5.5 (-130) $130 to win $100
The teams are a combined 9-1 for the under in their last 5 games and 19-9 on the year for the under. With Huet and Bryzgalov likely all the signs are pointing to under in this one to me.
