What happens if you don't make 10 picks for the week?

Why did you put a minimum number of picks? I'm a system player, so you're forcing me to step outside my system and play picks I wouldn't usually. Not a big deal, just bringing it up for any future contests.

It was in the rules before it started, figured everyone would read them before it started. Wanted the contest to reward skill thus the minimum and maximum picks and only 1 unit bets. Don't want it to turn into a gongshow with everyone picking every game going on nightly, then it gets stupid.

How does being forced to pick a minimum of 10 games a week showcase skill? That's over a pick a night, and if you're trying to focus on good spots to bet, that's a serious over-extension. A limit on the maximum makes sense, I guess, but if someone wants to bet every game on the board, the chance they do so at +50% is rare, so they'd be their own demise.

Anyway, I'll read the rules next time.

LOL, I understand what you are saying. Guess there is no need for a minimum really. Could have done without one.

Nope Saturday is. Sunday-Saturday each week the contest runs.

I'm looking at the contest, and it appears the Elite 8 (second round) starts on November 11th. That means there are still 2 days of betting for the first round. Could someone let me know if that's right?

According to DG's post on the main page...picks for the round of 16 ran from Sunday to Saturday (the 7th)...although it seems as though the system is allowing ongoing picks...
