    Default DG's Wednesday Plays

    Early Leans

    CAR
    over NYI
    (-143)
-Carolina is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings.
-Carolina is 4-0 in Long Island in the last 4 meetings.

NAS vs BOS Under 5.5 (-125)
-Under is 9-1-1 in the last 11 meetings.
    -Boston missing Savard and Lucic.
-Nashville averaging 1.4 goals per game.

    COL over MIN (+115)
-Minnesota has looked terrible this year and Colorado great.
-Even though Minny is good at home you have to roll with COL at this value.

    VAN vs CHI Over 5.5
-Combined 10-6 for the over this year.
-Over is 8-0 in CHI last 8 home games.
-Chicago owns Luongo's soul after last year's playoffs.
-Niemi in net, although his stats look good he isn't that great of a goalie.

Ok. I was liking the under too... But I was also thinking that Boston may well score 5 or 6 of their own. With Nashville averaging just 1.4 GPG total and only .8 their last 5 games wouldn't the play be BOS PL? Just thinking... I am even thinking of laying the chalk and playing BOS -200 ish ML.. Thoughts?

I wouldn't play Boston ML just because of the juice, PL would be a better value bet. Will be interesting to see how Boston does without Savard and Lucic, but I think they have enough depth to take care of the lowly Preds.

I believe you have swayed me DG... Causing me to look into this closer.. With 4 Goals on the season Savard Accounted for 20% of their total already. When you take him out of the mix they are averaging just over 2 GPG themselves..... Interesting..

Yeah man it looks like a huge lock on paper but Savard is a huge, huge part of their offense.

No, after looking at it more I TOTALLY agree with you now. I was leaning under already, but also was thinking BOS... After seeing how much of Boston's Offense Savard accounted for I am in on the Under and will make it one of my plays, along with Probably your CAR play I will take as well... PROBABLY.. But I'm feeling kinda iffy about that one seeing as they haven't won on the road all year and it's tough to ask a shitty team to help you get a win even if it's over a shittier one!! Ward in goal is a def adv over the NYI goalie, Still leaning Carolina way, probably will play it too.. With both of us on the same hopefully we will both hit and win big.

thanks for the convo as well, I'm really new to this NHL but no newbie at breaking down #'s.

I prefer overs too but at least with unders you start off winning

    Official Plays

CAR over NYI (-143) $143 to win $100

NAS vs BOS Under 5.5 (-125) $125 to win $100

COL vs MIN Under 5.5 (-120) $60 to win $50

Almost a 3-0 night, Carolina with the hero comeback falls short.

    2-1 +$7

A profitable night nonetheless, off to Mcdonalds with my winnings, peace!

Nice work DG. I ended up goin against what I said earlier when I finally posted... I took NYI and ended up 2-0 +2.28 units (about 87 bucks for me, I do $40 per unit). Anyway, winners all around!!
