Love the Sens tonight at home. They hold a 20-4 record at home vs the Bolts in the last 24 meetings. The Lightning are on a two game winning streak and the Sens are coming off a loss at home, I like the Sens to take it down tonight.

CHI vs NAS Over 5.5 (-120) $120 to win $100
Nashville has not looked good this year, while Chicago has looked very explosive. With Huet and Rinne confirmed starters and both struggling to open the season I like the over. I expect Chicago to come out strong and dictate the play. Nashville wants to play defensively but they will be forced to open it up once Chicago takes the lead.


STL vs PHO Under 5.5 (-130) $130 to win $100
Normally I never play unders but this one jumped out to me. Phoenix is a very defensive team and over their last 4 games their opponents and them are averaging a measly 2.25 goals per game combined. Bryzgalov has been stellar for the Coyotes and I expect Chris Mason to bring his A game today as well. Look for a low scoring goalie dual tonight.

Chicago is clearly the better team, but I think it will be a tight game. Plus on the second leg of a back to back I always am careful about those games.

I tend not to bet 6 totals as much, as I prefer 5.5 but if I had to pick under or over in this one i'd go with the over for sure.

Boudreau simply changed the lines to shake things up a bit. Whether it will have an effect remains to be seen. All he did was drop Backstrom to the second line to even out some scoring so the first line will be Ovechkin, Knuble and Semin. After three straight losses I like Washington to get it done and SJ can certainly score some goals so the over might be a safe bet.
