    Thursday 10/1/9 play:

    San Jose -170 $100

Hey cheme82 found the thread. Good luck this season and thanks for posting the plays when we start the system bets in about a month.

Officially the system doesn't start until 25 games in when we can see which teams are brutal on the road.

    I have placed:

    Montreal - PL
    San Jose - PL

and by the way this is my first ever post and I want to take the opportunity to thank McCain and cheme82. You're advice on system plays while never taken as gospel is still priceless and I'm SO grateful for people like u!!

By the way prylac, if you are trying to follow the betting for the NHL system you should have bet San Jose moneyline tonight not puckline. You only bet puckline when your team is the underdog +1.5.

Looks like it won't matter, just wanted to pass that along.

Of course, the system hasn't actually started yet, just wanted to get you straight on the right types of bets.

Hey guys the system won't start until next month, that's why I didn't chase with SJ.

For anybody interested, it is a chase system on any NHL team going on the road for at least 3 games. The system won't start until next month when we have some idea of how teams have done on the road. I will only start a series on a team that has a winning road record. If the team is favorite then you play them on the ML, if they are dogs then you grab the +1.5 PL. The lines will always be negative and can go all the way up to the -200's so make sure the unit you are trying to win on each series is small enough that you can chase for 3 games.

So let's say once the system starts we find a team that is 10-8 on the road and they are starting a 4-game road trip. On the first night they are favored with a ML -140. We decide our unit is going to be $50 so we bet $70 on them to win $50 on the ML. That would be bet "A". They shit the bed and they lose 1-5.

Bet "B" would be the next road game for that team, now they are dogs of +120 so we will bet them on the Puck Line at +1.5. Let's say the juice for that is -200. So we need to win 70 (that we lost on game A) plus 50 that we intend to make on each series. We would bet $240 to win $120 on that team +1.5. Now let's say we were losing 1-2 and the bet looked good until they decided to leave an empty net and try to tie that shit. You kicked and screamed to just take the ****ing loss as men but to no avail. Sure enough the way the gambling has been going for you lately the mother****ers gave up a goal with 15 seconds left and your PL bet went to shit!

Their next game you are nervous. You have lost 70 the first night and 240 last night on a bullshit empty net goal. You are down 310 and tonight they are big favorites (-220) playing on the road against a team that is 2-8 at home. You smile and tell yourself everything will be ok until you realize you just locked a bet risking $792 to win a measly 50 bucks. You start wondering why the **** you risk your hard-earned money on a ****ing system some asshole you don't know posted online. But you already locked the bet so **** it, you buy a 12-pack put on Versus and sit down to sweat that shit off. Just so everyone is following, we lost 70 the first night on bet A and 240 the next night on bet B. You are down 310 and you want to win 50 so you are betting $792 to win $360. Your team scores quick, you are up 2-0 to go into the 3rd. period and you are feeling good. But with 10 minutes left the other team takes advantage of a power play and all of a sudden it's 2-1. You are a little buzzed because of that 12-pack so it takes you a while to realize your bet is not a sure thing any more. But 8 minutes go by and you are still up 2-1, now the other team pulls their goalie and they leave an empty net. It's like deja vu. Sure enough your team should get a cheap goal like the one the assholes gave up last night to **** your PL play, but what is life if not suffering? So your team is getting hammered by pucks flying all over the place, the goalie is doing great but there is so much he can do and with 30 seconds left, a wrist shot ****s you in the ass!

You know what happens next, 2-2 holds and you lose in a shootout. First you get a little numb, but you don't know if it is the 12-pack or the fact that you just lost over $1,100 to win $50 bucks. But guess what? Tomorrow another series starts on the Penguins, and there is no way the champs will let you down. Will they?

Ok, so now you know the worst that could happen. Any chasing system is very dangerous, you will find yourself second guessing on wether you should pull the trigger or not. But you have to go through the chase, so make sure you have enough $ and enough balls before you start this system. Make your starting unit small (on the example it was $50 and a lost series put us down over a dime so make sure you know that when deciding how much to start off with).

Of course a lot of series will be won on bet A, and the ones that lose that bet will win on bet B so you will get your money back + what you wanted to make in the first place. But there will be series that go to the C bet and that's when it gets interesting. If you lose a series at the beginning of the season it could be devastating to a bankroll, if you win 17 series in a row and then lose a series it's not that bad, it will wipe off all your winnings but at least is money you had won already. The series end after bet C on the 3rd. game regardless of win or loss. Even if they have another game on the road, do not chase that game.

Lots of adrenaline when the series go deep, and easy cash when they win fast. Misery and suicidal thoughts when we lose one. You have all been warned so don't say I didn't tell you.

    cheme82, that's pretty much it, I agree.

Appreciate you laying out the intricacies and pitfalls of my system so hopefully we can weed out a few of the whiners.

Great post: not so much a betting system post, but a short story!

cheme, great post, but I'm surprised you didn't heed the warnings: Don't play this system in October, or at least not on any team's first 3-game road series of the season. Historically there have been 1-2 losses early in the season going back the last 5 years (up to Nov 8th i think in 2004)... What gives?
