Congratulations to the 2012 stanley cup champion L.A. Kings

I wouldn't be surprised if they sweep.

As soon as I get a few books with prices I am pounding the Kings, and also prop bets of LA in 4 and LA in 5.

If LA does not suffer any serious injuries or suspensions, this should not be much of a series

    Kings only -135

Still don't see Quick getting beat 4 times.

I was thinking a 4-2 series as well with kings coming out on top as well.

Kings take the cup easy this year i believe.

Most people were on the Flyers over the Devils and then Rangers over Devils. Now people all over the Kings over the Devils. hmmm I'll take my chances with the Devils.

I certainly thought the Flyers would beat NJ, that is true.

I saw NJ struggle with a very average Panther team, I saw Philly whip a good Penguins team.

    The Devils surprised me.

If the Rangers hadnt struggled in two 7 game series, I would have taken them vs NJ, but, the 7 game serues took their toll.

Now I can take a rested LA team, who does not have home ice, but who is 8-0 on the road, or I can take NJ, off an emotional series win vs a huge rival ( like Philly was after beating Pitt )

Also factoring in, it would be better for the NHL brand if a "new team" won the cup.

I LOVVEEEE posts like these.... Panthers played there asses off for 7 games!!! I was impressed as hell...

Look its as simple as this Devils HAVE faced adversity these playoffs... Kings HAVE NOT... If the Devils rattle there cages and make the Kings team nervous and think about losing... you watch what happens man!!

    Devils in 7

Kings take first game for sure. I am pounding the crap outta LA on the first game. I dont see them losing the first game at all. Second game I would take the Over.

Thats what I think. Might keep track of it cause I really believe that will be the first 2 plays to make in the first 2 games.

  18. #18

This is another goalie matchup. Both very evenly matched teams that play a similar style of hockey. Quick has been lights out all season, you can't blame quick for any of LA's losses in the postseason. Then you have Brodeur, who peaked years ago, he's prone to the big rebound and the Kings will bury it. This is going to be a great finals let me tell ya!

Kings over 2.5 @ +115 looks good value...

    Both teams looked very rusty.

I doubt I get my sweep, but still hoping for 4-1 at worst.

    My series bets are

    Took LA -130 $ 6500 to win $5000

    4-0 +1295 $1000 to win $12,950

    4-1 +550 $1000 to win $ 5500

Nice win, and agree with the over in game to 2.

    Needmore SOG...

28-25 or so will register and over

  22. #22

Now that the Kings teased me, they better cash my series wager worth 5 k

Would be tremendous if they could sweep and get me the extra 12950.

If LA wings game 3, I,have to hedge game 4 NJ, and should get +150 or so.

First things first, need LA to win game 3.

I expect the LA ice to be pristine, so the more skilled Kings should skate past the Devils with relative ease

    Devils in 7

Well, you still may get the Devils in 7

  24. #24

    Do I hedge game(s) 4 & 5 ( if needed )

I think I I have to risk about 3000 on NJ game 4 dont I?

If NJ loses, I cash a 13 k prop anyway

  25. #25

The devils at +140 is a steal! oh what a fool I was. Congrats LA backers.

  26. #26

  27. #27

    Looking good rangers nice plays

  28. #28

    Yeah,
Just once I would like to make the right call on a hedge though.

Could have put 3 dimes on NJ tonight and won $4800...

Instead, let it ride, and lost the $1k prop

Ill now DEFINITLY hedge game 5, @+100 or so, do it for the 2 dimes I have out in props.

NJ wins, I get my prop money back, and I have my 6500 to win 5 bet alive

    LA wins, I winmy "in 5 " which pays 5500 ( net 2500 ) + the series bet of 5k

How is this working out for ya???? Take that Rangers avator symbol down makes people want to vomit!!

  30. #30

    Working great genius.

As you see, I hedged game 5, & won the 2 dimes I lost on the props.

Now as long as LA doesnt blow the 4-0 lead, I win 5 dimes on the series, thus netting 5 dimes.

Without bad luck the Kings would have swept, but NJ got every bounce for 2 straight games.

How have your bets fared ?
