Green Dollar One a day NHL contest Feb 4 thread----

    One a day NHL contest.

This one is easy. Just make one straight up selection per day in the month of February. It’s free to enter.

*You can get in the contest at anytime. You will start at 0 pts.

*You will have to pick from the games provided in the NHL contest thread.
*Contest starts Sunday, Feb. 1 and ends Saturday, Feb. 28.
*Your pick must be in by the deadline specified or you will not have any pts.
*You get 2pts for a winning pick and 1pt for a losing pick.
*Player with most pts wins 100$.
*If two or more players are tied after the Feb 28 games then theses players will go on and play a survivor round to determine the winner.
    * If you think someone is fading your pick or going with your pick, you may PM your pick to me and i will post it on the board.
*if you spot an error in the standings please let me know.

Just a thought, why is everyone awarded a point for a loss?

I was thinking it would make more sense to subtract a point for a loss.

*reward the person who makes an everyday selection and penalize the person who takes a day off.

but it means that there isn't enough of a difference between winning and losing. 1-0 and 0-2 is the same.

    thanks either way

Yeah I'm with you on that. It should be 3 for a win and 1 for a loss. Or just two for a win. But whatever works I guess. I understand your POV.
