    Default on3's NHL home chase 55-3 in 2010, 94-1 in 2009

The 2009 record is accurate, the 2010 record was 55-3 as of 4/3/11.

    The system is as follows:

Play on teams that open at -145 or higher in the first game of a three or more game homestand.

    Chase for 3 games only

Run on an aggressive 3 line labby

The system takes quite a bit of work to update every day, so points are appreciated.

On line of greater than -200, I would recommend playing the -1 or -1.5 line. I dont have the exact record on the PL plays, but I do remember it not being much of a problem for the heavily favored teams.

    Lets make some money!

Are you betting all 3 games, or you only chase if this first one loses?

If (A) wins, series over, count as a series win. If (A) loses, we play MIN again for the (B) game. If (B) wins, series over, record 1-0. If (B) loses, we play MIN again for the (C) game, if (C) wins, series over, record 1-0. If (C) loses, series over, record 0-1.

We run a labby line so our losses are spread over the different plays and our units are 'recovered' instead of lost.

Today, we bet MIN to win 20.

If Minnesota wins tonight the serie is over, we have our win, if they lose we play their Next game as à B bet

I think I am liking the idea but I am confused in the regard to chase and labby....I guess I don't understand how you can chase and have a labby line at the same time ? Are these separate lines ? Or are you talking just a str8 chase ?

Let's sat for example all you home favs are -150....You lose A so you are down 1.5u.....so B bet is 3u ?

And if you lose B bet you are then down 4.5u.... So your C bet would be 6u ? That C bet would then recoup your loses from A & B and give you your +1u in the end of the chase ? Is this right ? Cause that's a chase not a labby...I'm just tryin' to get this straight, thanks CBH

The games you pick are considered a chase, but the amounts you bet use the labby system. So you don't actually double up to win 1 unit each time, as a typical 'chase' methodology would require.

    And Tuesday.

Here's hoping they win on the A game, as the B and C are against Detroit and Pitt, respectively.

Well I guess I am confused on this system, seems like you could win a C bet but still lose money ? no ?

Can someone put an example out there for an A, B, and C bet as to how this would work ? thanks CBH

They are -125, so don't qualify.

on3 is accurate, with MIN being the only play that fits the system.

Yes, you are correct. If judging the system and money management on a "1 series only" basis, then this system would be a failure. If you are looking at it over the course of the whole season, you will see a consistent upward slope in the amount of units won.

If you will only play this system once in a while, then please use a Martingale system. If you are in it for the whole season, the run the labby with me.

Good pico on3. I was just checking out ur mlb thread and your c bets hit at a incredible rate. Were there many c bets in your nhl system last year?

  31. #31

the mlb thread was the first one in which i was so detailed. i will be more meticulous with this thread than i have been in the past. i imagine in mlb the C bet hits at such a high rate because the better team is playing the lesser team 3 times in a row and the outliers/upsets are filtered out by the time they reach the third game. i would not assume the same would apply for the NHL except for the teams who are significantly better at home than they are on the road.

How many units were you up on the 55-3 record? I like this system and did it with the top 10 teams in futures for baseball, chasing on home stands of 3 games or more. Keep a good organized thread and I'll feed you points all day long.
