Any chance we can get an example before the 10th?

cubfan, I'll assume you were asking about an example for the labby system but you brought up a good idea, so I'll give an example of the system that I use and how I post for those that are new.

For example, PIT starts a V1 series tonight and TAM starts a V2 series tomorrow. It's their first games of the season so we filtered it out, but I'll make a few posts here to demonstrate how things will work.

DO NOT BET THESE - EXAMPLES ONLY

    V1 Pittsburgh Penguins ML (A) +140 (1 to win 1.4)
    V1 Pittsburgh Penguins PL (A) -215 (2.15 to win 1)

So what is exactly the differnece between Morrison's system and yours? Is it that you play a ML and PL on all series that qualify instead of either or the ML on favorite and PL on dog?

Looking forward to following this as I've had a good year in betting thus far.

    Thanks

Labby is really the way to go.......I use a 2 line labby......

There are so many ways to do a labby......I prefer to limit my risk as much as possible....and adjust
    the labby to that end....

Always remember, that profit is the name of the game.....

Just do one that you are most comfortable with...

    Good Luck El Cap

No difference really except I am running a series of straight MLs and then another series of PL dog/ML favorites.

If you're looking to follow the strict JM system, just place the bets where I list PL (which might change to a ML if they are favored).

When I make the posts I try to lay everything out in an easy to read way but if I confuse people, please ask.

Maybe someone would step up and keep track of the system using labby lines? I'll do the normal way and we can compare at the end of the season.

I believe that is right allidoiswin. Should be side noted that V2 did very poor last year so those bets you should track only.

Anyone know if Nitsuj updated the spreadsheet? Would like to have a accurate list of plays this season.

Also I could possibly take on the role of updating the labby if no one else will carry the torch

hey good luck with your system! i'll be following along this season too! your doing staright martingale right? and the V1 produced 71 units of profit with ML and PL.

anybody back tests the labby line please share with us! thanks

also, elCapitan how many units would you recomend to start with? and whens the best way to bet higher if your starting with 100 a chase, when would you bet 150 a chase like when would be a rigth time?

    thanks!

Alright so just to double check, your PL plays are both playing the -1.5 and +1.5 depending on who you are chasing in the series?

So theoretically I just need to look at the schedule and the series we bet will be the same except you will be betting the PL and ML whereas I will be betting the PL for a dog and ML for favorites only under Morrison's Rules???

    Thanks

And after seeing your record, it looks like there is no reason not to play both sides as you do as you were more profitable when looking at units. I'll probably start with Morrison just to get my feet wet.

Thanks for making the thread again... will be interesting in seeing how V2 does this year.. although it definitely won't be enough to make back what we lost on it last season.

You never, ever, ever, ever, ever play the -1.5 line. You either play a +1.5 if they are the dog or the ML if they are the favorite.

So tonight, TAM starts a V2 series. We will track it for fun. These wins/losses will not count on the season record. I will zero everything out when we officially start.

DO NOT BET THESE - EXAMPLES ONLY

    V2 Tampa Bay Lightning ML (A) +100 (1 to win 1)
    V2 Tampa Bay Lightning PL (A) -300 (3 to win 1)

Okay I understand that is for the JM system but what about your system. What if your away team is the favorite (ie the best road team in the league matching up against the worst team overall) Do you still bet your ML and your -1.5 PL in your system?

If the away team is the favorite then you just take them on the ML twice. You never bet the -1.5 line period.

    For example:

    Boston Bruins (A) ML -110 (1.10 to win 1)
Boston Bruins (A) PL (favorite, play ML) (1.10 to win 1)

Ok, well I think everyone gets the idea of how this works so I won't do any more examples. First official play is 10/14 with Carolina.
