how did you guys allow bets to be taken on +600 events?

you block the ML's from the games yet the $1250 wagerchief contest is virtually over as the leader with 28 units has no shot at being beaten.

i was under the assumption lines like that didn't exist?

i was in contention with 1 game left in the BetPhoenix 1000 nfl playoffs and had indy -5 -110 and thought if i win i cash well i lost so it doesnt matter but it seems a ton of people jumped everyone and won with some crazy prop play?

why offer sided all contest and then offer some crazy line at the end?

doesn't make much sense IMHO

that wager chief contest is over i might as well not even pick a game and i have all 30 picks left

I agree....I was robbed and it really doesn't make sense to have someone work hard to handicap games and someone with a record of 6-4 come in and win the contest when we wasn't allowed to use moneylines and high value picks at the beginning. There were guys who went 9-1 and not even close in the standings who was robbed also.

that is just sick and stupid for that to be allowed.

i understand getting the +101 sometimes etc.. but to allow crazy prop play that wont ever be allowed again is just plain stupid.

The contest clearly stated that Spread lines and totals are allowed. Everybody thought all lines are in the range of -110 to +110. Superbowl Propositions, e.g. New Orleans -7.5 +600, should not be offered at all.

Regarding the wagerchief contest, I understand where your coming from, but it was offered to everyone and I took it.

If Indy would of covered, would the posters like myself that took New Orleans -7.5 and lost, think that they should get their units lost back? No. Would the players that stayed off this game think that these alternate line players should get their units lost back? No.

And how about the alternate line Indy +7.5 winners? Would they start a thread to give up their winning units? Of course not. And again, would posters who stayed off this game think that these alternate line players should give their units won back? No.

Bottom line is there would be no discussion on this alternate line if Indy would of won. Its only an issue because of New Orleans winning.

i played a normal -5 line that i thought was offered like it should be

you can have 100 plays at -110 then all of the sudden allow one game with crazy alt line prop bets allowed

might as well have a get of jail free card and be able to bet 1 play at 25 units

it was not normal for that line to be allowed.

hockey lines have been there from day 1 we all know that.

Wish they actually gave us a warning that these crazy lines were offered.

Seems kinda strange for a competition that had ~300 registered participants with only the top 5 paying out in a 10 pick contest [Betphoenix NFL comp], wouldn't they want to reward the guys who go 10-0 or 9-1 with 9+ units ... but instead they let everyone who had no chance of winning ... steal 12 units with their final pick and jump to the top.

Tough to swallow when I had 2 weeks to think about that guaranteed $250. Ended up finishing 9th with 9-1.

I agree. In that 10 pick playoff contest with "regular" odds throughout, it was wrong to suddenly make +600 or such available only for the super bowl.

The 10-0 and 9-1 guys deserved better.

Yeah they shouldn't allow terrible lines like that cost a great capper I say make it fair get rid of a +600 line
