I can sign up with false information, but why bother?

You would have to have been here at least 6 months and have at least 500 posts to join. That would eliminate a lot of the ghosts.

There are plenty of contests that LT does that's just for points, no book involved. Cross-sport, weekly NFL, pick 15 bowl. I have cashed over 300 points since i've been here in the nfl weekly but bombed this week with fukin Jax+10

Those are not SBR-sponsored contests, though.

Problem is SBR doesn't sponsor them - The sportsbooks do. Hence the reason you need to sign up with a book.

It's makes the forum owners a few bucks, the sportsbooks a few customers, and they share the profits with the community in terms of points/prizes.

I can handle a few spam messages for the entertainment.
