Default Beat The Prick: How Many Books....

Unless I am missing something, we have to sign up for a book a week?! I have accounts at probably 5-6 of them already, but it seems to get more and more ridiculous each year. I get they need to find ways to sponsor, but it seems extreme.

    thoughts?

Unless I am mistaken, I believe you just have to sign up...not make a deposit at the books.

I think that is correct, at least that's what I did for the Bodog Poker tournaments.....I hate Blowdog.

Agree, but I feel once I given it to one the just past it to the other, I get stuff in the mail all the time from gambling sites that I've never heard of, personally addressed to me.

I have signed up with most of the books. I don't think I ever get any mail other than from Bookmaker. I also made the mistake of putting in my phone number with them and receive the non stop calls. This was my 2nd book I had, so I didnt know any of this until I joined the forum. The rest have been okay to me so far? Except I heard bad things from Looselines about payouts.

Not sure about a thread. There is a huge banner on the right that advertises Beat the Prick. Just refresh the page if something else is there and it will show up.

Default where do the payouts go?

Does the sponsored book for that week mean the payouts for that week (with the final payout going to bookmaker?) go to that particular book?

That means 5x rollover for that single payout to that one book?
I think looselines (aka Jazz) was listed twice (3 times w/jazz?).

Every year seems to get more and more complicated.

Now with my info all over the place and to all those books....it just feels nasty.

If it were any other contest, I would say forget it........

    Exactly my feeling too.

I know it is free so I shouldn't complain, but it seems overly complicated this year.

I REALLY hope that it is the same payout situation as last year where it is payed to your preferred book.

Some of these books don't mesh well with American players (some with any players at all) concerning payouts/deposits.

I also echo the posts above about them ****ing calling me every sunday/monday even after repeatedly saying not to. Now they get a nice prerecorded message from humorhotlines.com

As of now it looks like it will be going to whatever book is sponsored each week. As someone mentioned above Looselines is the only sponsored twice, with the Jazz once.

do you know if it will be ok to sign up with a book after the season starts as long as it is before that book's sponsoring week?

Same with the grand prize Bookmaker requirement. Is there a deadline for getting a bookmaker acct? For me, that's moot because I doubt if I will be eligible for the grand prize only being able to play 2 weeks as of now. I may get 1 or 2 more accts, but I can't see myself opening accts at all these books.

I'm curious if people are going to sign up for a couple, most, or all of the books. I think I have accounts at 4-5 (the more well known ones), and I'm debating at some of the lesser ones.

i don't see the rules anywhere. And I do not see the banner someone mentioned earlier - maybe because of my adblock settings.

Anyway, the question is this. Is it enough to sign up with a book? Or must there be a deposit and if so, what is the minimum?

    thanks
