Rules

• One entry per household. No exceptions.
• MLB, NBA, and NHL: moneylines, sides, and totals. There will be a -300/+300 cap on each wager. Dogs that are priced higher than +300 will be offered at +300. Favorites priced higher than -300 will not be on the board.
• Picks are 'to win' one unit on favorites, 'risk one' on dogs.
• Contestants must use the plays listed in the Daily Lines thread. Lines for MLB, NBA, and NHL will be posted overnight and the day of game day up to 7PM EST.
• Once you make a pick in your head-to-head match up thread, it is official and cannot be canceled under any circumstance, no exceptions will be made.
• You may pick the opposite selection to your opponent (to fade them), but you may not pick the exact same side or total*. You may also not pick both sides to the same game to minimize losses to juice. *This includes RL and ML, you CAN NOT bet an RL or ML if your opponent is already on that side.
• Any past posted plays will NOT be counted. If the scheduled start time per the Daily Lines thread is 7:30, any plays at 7:31 will be disregarded. Plays at 7:30 will stand. All times listed in the Daily Lines thread are EST.
• The Handicapping Contests subforum automatically prevents any user from 'editing' posts, but in the event of a rare software glitch, any picks posts that are edited will incur a 1.50 unit penalty and count as a loss on their record.
• In the event of a cancellation due to act of God, weather, or other forfeiture, your play will be graded as a push. This push will count towards your minimum requirement but not your maximum. In other words, you will have the option of making another play, but you will not be penalized. Please note that this stipulation only applies to pushes based on event cancellation; ordinary pushes on sides and totals WILL count towards your maximum allowed.

Round Structure

• All rounds will run from Tuesday to Sunday.
• All rounds will have a minimum 8 picks, maximum 12.
• If you make less than the minimum amount of 8, one unit will be subtracted from your record for each missing pick. If you make over the max of 12, excess plays will be no actioned without a unit penalty.

Lakers ML....they SHOULD be less than -300, I see no place where they are higher, so I should get this.

You can have it. I was considering Nuggets ML, it may be an early head to head.

Yeah, I didn't want to take Lakers -300 but after researching the game I think Lakers -6.5 -110 is the right call. I hope you're not bitter, I would have let you have Lakers -300 (too much risk imho). The Lakers should cover and if they don't, there's a good chance they'll lose. That's my opinion on this. I wasn't lying earlier.

fukk Dave...screwing me out of 2 units yesterday, I bet that will come back to kill me, but at least I made that up tonight.

I got fukked by Dave on Tuesday which cost me 2 units, so I guess I got extremely unlucky Tuesday and got it back Wednesday according to you.

Sam, how did YOU get "fukked"? You got the same lines as everyone else in the contest! Also, how is it my fault that you decided to take the Nationals as your makeup game?

I've been using betjamaica lines from day one in this contest. The one day me and Lou had a communication error and the lines weren't up in the morning, you said "Dave, how hard is your fukking job, get the lines up in the morning idiot"... now I get the lines up in the morning and because BetJam has them at over -300, you have now mentioned how I've "fukked" you over like five times?

I'm trying to be fair to all 16 players. I'm sure others wanted to bet the Lakers too, but none of them are claiming that I fvcked them over, they understand the rules of the contest and while it is frustrating sometimes it is fair for all 16 players.
