1 out of 50 games are worth betting?
All sports combined, how many games do you play per day?
I beleive that 2% of all games posted are legit wagers
i need feedback on the shot gun method or the 44 magnum
thanks!!

I average about 15 plays per day, down from the 25 a day I averaged in the past. The month of January is my busiest month of the year with close to 1,000 plays made for the month due to the high volume of cbb plays.

10 plays per day on average for me. Only 15% or so are on US Sports, however.
At elite level (NFL/NBA) I would estimate 5 or 6 percent of games provide betting opportunites if looking only at sides/totals.

I play 1 or 2 games a day, more on college FB Saturdays, and sometimes more on Sundays, but this is just a hobby for me.
You guys betting 25 and 15 games per day: are you making good money?
Seems like an awful lot of capping to me. 15 games a day, do you even research the games or are they strictly system plays??

Almost every line has value at some point in it's lifespan.
I bet almost 2/3rds of the MLB sides.

the more plays a day the better more bets a year more profit, but i dont have too much time to analise, so so i only bet the games that i realy know the teams, so only 2 or 3 bets a day wich i think is very low the ideal shoud be 5 to 8 bets a day

Play the games where you believe there is value. Putting a limit on number of games or % of games does not help you or your bankroll.

You should be playing whenever you have an edge on the book after comparing it to market price.

I only get in 1-3 games a day. If one of the daughters start talking endlessly, it can make my betting that day down to zero.

I've changed my strategy to only betting 1-4 games a day. Seems to have worked well.

With a lot of outs, you should be able to bet quite a few games especially if you're good at predicting line movements. College football is the sport in which I have the least knowledge and I've cut back my number of books fairly significantly since the offshore law changes since it's tough to tell which books are solid (I got burned by Cascade), yet I still end up with bets on close to have of the CFB games on any given Saturday.

Thanks for the input guys.
As ruif stated ,1 game a day is too little ,however a 5% profit over 365 games is the same as 1% over 1825 games.
Which is easier to hit?
Probably no real answer, but i prefer the 1 game a day avg. Losing streaks are less and i don't have to force plays just to get action.
Thanks!!

Honestly I play maybe 20-30 games per day. That is if the card is full.. I Scowler all sports and put together a card of mixed pro and college sports and aim to hit 60%. Only take even bets as well..

Exactly. If you have time to research 20 games and you feel you have an edge in 19 of them, then bet 19. But if you feel you only have an edge in 2, bet 2.

with just one bet a week you dont know if you are getting value or are getting lucky, 2bets a day is a minimum, you cant be afraid of betting whem you are +EV, if you are afraid dont bet at all

I play too many. Probably 10 a day when I am in town and have time to look at the games.
I had good luck for a while this year trying to parse it out, i.e. 3 bets a day on ML dogs; 3 bets a day on spreads and 3 bets a day on totals. This did force me to be a little more disciplined....

I have a system but the number of plays that fit into that system varies. I guess I could tweak my system to lessen that number but I don't think that's necessary. I don't think its about the number of plays but having a system that works.

I wager on only my best bets of the day after handicaping. The amount of games depends on the card but, as an average I wager on 3-5 games a day.
I learned for an ole time gambeler back in the 70s that 1 -2 games a day can make you some heavy cash if you are a good handicapper. Hope that helps.
