    Default Over/Under questions

    Hey guys

I just have a few quick questions

When you track the over under for a team throughout the season. If the line moves and lets say if affects the outcome of the game whether is an over or under... Do you just take the closing line and use that to determind if the game is over or under for the final result?

Example: lets say the miami heat are playing the boston celtics the final score is 100 to 101 total points 201.... if the line opened at 200 it would be an over... but if the line closed at 202 it would be an under... My question is do websites like vegasinsider.com and for anyone else that keeps records only use the closing line?

The reason I ask this is becasue everyones records are going to be a little bit different so I just wanted to see what the deal was

That is correct and use a widely available book like pinny, BM etc.

I also use closing lines. Past 4 ncaab seasons though, early in the year like now follow the movement as it is very productive. Pick the games though and not blind, look at pace and effieciency.

I'm not so sure it matters which one you use as long as you pick one and use it throughout the term of your research.
