    Cool Advanced Statistics in sportsbetting

Using advanced statistics in baseball, I can glance at two pitchers and see which is better. Next, I asses the moneyline. I don't have to take anything else into account and I can hit near 60% of my baseball bets when hitting a large volume.

Are there any advanced statistics in sports other than baseball that are accurate?

I've just come across advanced NFL stats (http://www.advancednflstats.com/) recently which I'm getting more and more involved with and have found very useful. Some people are fans of pomeroy for college hoops I know. Haven't gotten a chance to look at him much, but people swear by it. I'm sure others will chime in.

Brian Burke who does the NFL advanced stats is very good. But if your not into math avoid. There are some who claim to be into math and trash him. He puts out stuff that flies in the face of conventional wisdom. There are lots of good stuff out there it's finding it.

I mentioned Pomeroy power ratings: http://kenpom.com/rate.php. I've seen people here claim that these are especially good after Jan. 1. I have no evidence of this, but will keep an eye on it this year.
