Is there any way to track down the frequencies of 2 and 3 point middle in NBA spreads? If so where can that be found.

P.S I just track Nov games and saw about 15% of the games fall into this category...you think that is about right?

Big difference between a two point middle and a three point middle. Both are worth betting, unless they cross the "dead" number zero.

I hate trying to middle at the half, if I can get a 2 and up pt difference prior to the start of the game, I will take it everytime.

Beginners should use 7 cents as the value of every half pt. for games with spreads of -10 or less.

What this means is, say you lay -6 and -7.5 and layed -110 on both sides........that is 20 cents total one is laying.

If the cost of each half pt. is 7 cents as stated above........anything under 21 cents layed is in all liklihood a +ev situation or very close to it for a 1.5 pt. middle(7 cents x 1.5 pts equals 21 cents).

After learning this basic concept, you can move on to more efficient strategy manuvers that will increase your profits.

The NBA is fantastic for middling/scalping numbers and one can grind a profit everyday after you master a few techniques.

Otherwise, you'd need to build a database of scores and line histories to calculate the radii yourself.
