Any thoughts or suggestions. I'm not looking for a program that makes predictiion, I can do that, if it has the feature great. But I just don't have the time to put all the numbers in every night and run them the next day.

Any thoughts or advice.

I'm getting killed this year in bases and need to turn it around fast.

I have been using sportrends baseball program for over 10 years now and had very good success. Its simple to use and it will kick in on 5/15

variance can be a bitch, and with so many games baseball is going to have some sick variance.

Try paper trading, make sure you have an edge before you risk real money. Chasing losses will only lead to more losses. GL

You say you will kick in on 5/1. Why now 5/15. Why the tool lose the last 14 days...

I never said anything about starting May 1, thats what the software says. I start using it on may 15th and I always have.

Good advice. What angles are working for you right now. I've been using home park, bullpen, over/under, SP trying to hit some totals. But I've never quite caught on to the right time to play the 'dog.

I had a system that only worked for interleague. It was using simple power ratings that were weighted very, very heavily on WHIP. Two years ago I came up with it, and I was hitting 80%, no lie, and then after interleague, I lost my ass. That's when I realized it was only working for interleague, and I coincidentally came up with the idea at that time.

Starting May 15th as I said i would and using sportrends software I am 7-1 + 6.0 units. I am also looking at pythagoream theorm which I never used previuosly and its hitting 23-9 with an overlay of 65%. This is something I will be looking at very closely.

You don't have a chance unless you're updating rosters every day... And I don't know of any programs that do that.

Try just picking your spots, maybe one or two games a day, dont need a full card of action everyday.

Your making it more complicated then it has to be. Run production, pitching, bullpen and streaks and sportrends software is all I need.
As I mentioned since 5/15 the program's Best Bets are now 17-4. 81%, + 12.5 units and the Pythag Therm is now well over 65% and making lots of picks. Check out our forum. There are many people using it and its kicking ass.

If that's all you're looking at, you'll get buried. Losing one good bat in a team with "good run production" could cost you 15-20 cents, and your program doesn't account for that.

Streaks - do you look to fade streaks and trends? These are for the most part useless, but I'd be curious to see how this program tries to use it.

My friend, with all due respect I have been wagering on baseball for over 30 years now. I have never hit below 62% or below +100 units. I guess you could call that getting buried. Thanks for the advise.

Hard to believe that some on here criiticize Sportrends. If you try the software , you will find it works and is user friendly.The Software show all results from past years. They have been winners for all years. Using it after May 15th is key ,though it kicks in May 1st many years. You need 30 games of data to fully impliment it. Last year it was 100 units ahead using one of the 2 programs offered. I just met ( via phone) Sam, on owns the rights to the software , recently. I believe him to be intelligent and more importantly logical. I still do not know why he sells it cheaply, but that's his call. I use my own methods in baseball but have his software and I can confirm it works!
