    You're better off in Player's talk, 2kids. These dudes in Think Tank build models based on probability calculus, probably with some Fibonacci numbers worked in. If you don't understand Bayesian curves and binomial distribution, don't bother. Player's talk is a pretty gruff bunch, too, though. If you're looking at a specific sport, try basketball or hockey or whatever forums further down the page.

    If you can come up with one real example where Fibonacci numbers are relevant in sports betting, I'll toss you 50 points.

    Not looking to claim the 50 points but if you have a betting model with an edge and bet one game at a time, the Fibonacci method (which is based on Fibonacci numbers) discussed in the link below could possibly be used as a money/bankroll management process.

    I am not advocating the method but depending on one's preference when it comes to risk (of ruin) vs reward (long term return) and volatility of bankroll, it might be one's preferred bankroll management method.
