    Default Automating Bet tracking.

Looking to lighten the burden of keeping track of my bets in an Excel spreadsheet and interested in how people here have gone about automating some aspects of this.

What do you manually enter into your Excel sheet to keep track of your bets and results?

    What aspects have you automated?

Also - there was a thread awhile ago about "What do you keep track of in your bet tracking sheet", but I can't find a link to Advanced Search for this site and can't find the thread, so would be interested in this as well.

    (PM me if you prefer).

    Thanks.

I manually enter all of the basic numbers into my spreadsheet. I keep track of Date, Selection(s), Opponent(s), odds, Closing line, Stake, and Sportsbook where the bet was placed. I then enter the result at the end of the game as well and grade a win or loss by hand.

The spreadsheet automatically calculates Implied Probability and Edge, along with a whole range of stats that I can use to help track my performance.

I am sure others have better, but this serves its purpose pretty well, hence I haven't really looked around for anything else. It started out very basic, but i've added to it on an as needed basis over time.

I'm sure you can automate Excel to pull numbers from your previous bets, but most online books get very touchy with automated "bots" accessing their information (even the arbitrary information like your previous bet results).

I would be interested in this as well...would be nice to have something that can be more automated..especially when shopping for and entering in 30+ bets in a busy Saturday..
