Default Bookmaker's Loyalty Program

Here are their bonus payouts:

Points Gift Photo
2500 Free Payout
4000 $50 freeplay & Mouse Pad
8000 $100 freeplay & Sports Pager
9000 $125 freeplay & T-Shirt
10000 $150 freeplay & Hat
12000 $175 freeplay & Golf Shirt
15000 $200 freeplay
30000 $400 freeplay
40000 $500 freeplay
50000 $600 freeplay
60000 $700 freeplay
70000 $800 freeplay
80000 $900 freeplay
90000 $1000 freeplay

So, unless I'm missing something 10,000 is the best amount of points to use? Anybody have any ideas why their structure is set up this way?

because many people are too dumb to be able to figure that out

given that you have figured that out, don't expect to have such pts for very long.

What do you mean, they will take the points away if they think I'm a sharp bettor? If so, I think it would be smarter to use as many as possible.

If they believe that you are not a recreational type, then you should expect to be cut from the Loyalty Program. You actually end up keeping any points that you have accumulated, but I'm unsure if you can use them at that point.

With the BetCris family of books, it usually takes them quite a while to make this decision, at least from my own experience and some others I know (Years, in my case).

I could redeem loyalty points after they stopped giving me more. GOGOGO giant stack of hats.

It depends heavily on the valuations you assign to mouse pads, circa 1992 sports pagers, spiffy CRIS t-shirts, bright white baseball hats, and XXXL golf shirts.

Thanks for the info. I might sacrifice some EV and play some blackjack when I'm running well to help influence their decision. 10 hands of $100 blackjack shouldn't be giving up more than 20 bucks in EV and would probably go a long way in maintaining my status.

I have the hat and it is lame! The hat has silver shiny letters which makes me look like a girl with glitter on. I can not wear this hat and feel like a man! I'm giving it to my wife for Christmas! I will try for the Golf Shirt but I needed the bonus pts. because I was down to the shirt on my back.

Shirts say something like "Where The Line Is Set" and I believe has the Cris web address or something. They are white.

No shiny letters on my hat/shirt. White with blue animal on it, red letters that says "Where the line originates". On the bottom it gives their web address. Been a couple of years since I got them, might have changed recently.

The golf shirts are great. Worth $30-$40 easily. I usually collect at 10k points for $150 fp. 12k should be worth 200fp instead of 175fp, but I've collected there a few times as the shirts make great gifts.

In that case go for the 10k points for the $150 -- each point would then be worth 1.5¢ worth of free play.

(Although if you're eligible, the 2.5k points free withdrawal option could be more valuable depending on the cost they permit you to defray).

2500 point free withdrawal isn't an option anymore. Instead they give you a free withdrawal every month, but by their chosen method (ACH now I believe).

i just got their hat. its black and it says "bookmaker" in silver sort of glittery letters on the front. it says "www,BOOKMAKER.com" on the side and on the back it says "old school meets new school". i will never wear it because it sucks, it'd have been happier with a plain black hat. i think i'm going to throw it in my fireplace.

Sometimes I wonder if they use this structure of Loyalty point redemption to find out if you're sharp enough that they should revoke your loyalty redemption program. It couldn't hurt to be a little inefficient now and then... not that much... could it?

Ehh, it really doesn't take a sharp to figure out which is the best value - just very simple math.

ive never had problems with the loyalty program, but their transfer price from book to book makes them a pain in the ass.

Not sure about the current CRIS ball caps, but the white ones I used to get 3-4 years ago would have been the cat's meow on the West Palm shuffleboard circuit ... not something that anyone under the age of 70 should have been wearing, though.

Just logged in today and see that they've changed the program so that there is no longer the value of cashing in 10,000 points for the $150 free play. It's now 12,000 for the $150 free play and everything goes up in increments of 4,000 points and $50.
