Default Is this a viable strategy??

Hello all,

This is a strategy a friend of mine put me onto, and I tried it for the first time today with College Football and Ended up 12-1-1.

According to him, this works best for college sports football/basketball because there can be huge discrepancies in the teams playing...

This essentially is the strategy... Find every team who has a money line of -500 or lower up to 15 total teams (the more favored the team the better) but if none of the true -1000 etc. moneylines are available don't go higher than -500, Using the Greek for this weeks college games there were 14 teams that met that criteria.

Oklahoma, Florida, Rutgers, South Carolina, Georgia, Missouri, Tennessee, Oregon, Arizona State, Houston, Texas, Southern Cal, Troy, & Florida Atlantic.

Once you've identified the teams pick them to win on the spread. then tease each team 10 points so that instead of the line being -110 it is -600 for each team.

Lay down the $600 per team to win $100. So betting each game individually you lay down (assuming a full 15 teams) $9000 to win $1500, essentially 16.7% return on the closestt thing possible to a lock in sports betting.

At worst you lose 2 games, you still net $300 on the games. And then for good measure he'll throw $100 or so on a 15 team parlay all at -600 and bring in around $900 or so if they all hit.

So looking at todays games Missouri was a push at -17, and Tennessee was a loss at -16.5. All other games won.

So today's line was risk $8420, Won $1200, Lost $600, Net +$600

I'm interested in your folks thoughts on this. It seems to me like a nice [i]easy[i] way to make steady albeit small money, on some strongly favored teams.

I'd love to hear what you all think.

Best of luck to all!!

It boils down to if the 10 points you get from the tease is worth the extra -490 in juice. My guess is no. But you should study historical data to confirm.

It seems all you're doing is betting huge favorites. It's actually a very bad system, giving you a small chance to win even in the short term.

To much chalk. All you need is a couple upsets a week for this not to work, which seems to happen alot in CFB
