For those that truly want balanced action yes. The Big 3 (Pinny, CRIS, Greek) have a higher risk-tolerance, but that is another subject for another thread.

The only truly "guaranteed" angles are those that are determined, at least in part, prior to the game. These are essentially limited to scalps (of all forms, this would also encompass so-called "synthetic" scalps that might include technically different bets with sufficiently similar risk characteristics) and certain creatively hedged middles. The only absolutely guaranteed path to gambling profit over a finite horizon is to buy low, sell high, and do both simultaneously.

Guaranteed angles last as long as the book doesn't get wind of them. Mine the gold before everyone else does.

There are no guarenteed angles other than true arbitrage. The reason for this is threefold. One, that's simply the definition of a guarentee, you might have the best of it but you could always lose. Two, there is no reason to assume that what has happened in the past was representitive, there simply haven't been enough games played (even in MLB) to know for sure. Third, sports change and not just obvious change like the new NHL rules.
