I'd be lying if I claimed otherwise.

That said, for all his more recent ventures outside of economic theory and into political, his vaunted work in international trade theory and clustering (which I recall having been addressed rather skeptically in grad school) and his vociferous criticism of Bush economic policy seem to have ultimately been proven rather prescient.

After a too long absence from the scene the Kelly calculator at http://www.sbrforum.com/Betting+Tool...alculator.aspx is now back in action.
