True, but I had a very uneasy feeling about this year. I hope you're right though.

I predicted the Pirates going 83-79 and missing the playoffs. My friends and co-workers thought I was nuts.

I will be really surprised if the Brewers keep up this kind of pace.

Just a matter of time before they fade.

All 5 should disappear when the season ends. Melky is interesting though.

    Thoughts on Jedd Gyorko?

He has been absolutely terrible this season and already has been paid to a nice future contract. Is he going to hit and turn it around? He is just a bench player on my team at the current moment with Rendon and Brett Lawrie playing 2nd and 3rd.

    I totally understand.

I picked him up last year and he helped my team win it all.

So, this year draft I grabbed him & he is on my bench also.

I don't know whats wrong with him this year. I have Not watched any Padres' games this year yet.

I've talked with a lot of people that are really high on this guy.

My thinking is that he's just off to a sluggish start but will turn things around and have a strong year...

He can now turn it around in free agency. I may take him later on, but I don't see him catching fire all of a sudden. Probably a slow climb back up.

Talk about double headers. There are 3 sets of games planned for double headers. It could be a big day or long day of outs for some people in lineups. I like to stack my guys if possible.

It should only be a weekend type deal. He bruised his knuckles, so trouble gripping the bat. It could have been worse as he made one hell of a catch to start that game off.

That was a hella of a catch by Hamilton.

Its just day to day & hope his knuckles heal fast.

At least he will still pinch run while he recovers.

The Oakland Athletics have the best starting staff in MLB so far this year.

If this holds up, they'll be playing deep into October...

It's nice to see Kazmir backing up last season. It wasn't anything special but considering how he was terrible for a few years, it's a nice comeback.
