I think if you have the room on your roster and dont' lose out on someone else it's worth it. He's not that great even if healthy probably this year, but it's worth the flier in hopes he has got it going when he does return.

I'm not a big Oswalt fan. Last year he didn't have much of a season. He will get some Wins with Texas, but his ERA and Whip won't be much to help out. If you have an open spot or somebody to cut, sure why not and test it out.

Guy sucks more than sideloaded at the YMCA. He may toss a decent start or two but unless you get him cheap, I'd pass.

Playing in Arlington is good and bad. Good because easy to get wins, but bad because that ballpark is a bandbox. Homerun after homerun. Again though, if you are adding him off waivers and have the room worth the add, but otherwise no to me.

i think roy has had a great career but with all the run support he gets this year i find hes been getting too ballsy on the mound i still like texas by 2 but i dont see roy going past the 6tth innning

bad move. I had the option of picking up him on multiple occasions and I passed. Guy wasn't great last year in the NL. Don't think he will be much better in AL especially in Arlington where teams tend to put up alot of runs. As stated above he might pick up a win or two here but high ERA and WHIP. I'm sure you can do better than him.

Oswalt looked strong on Tuesday night in picking up the win against Oakland.

Oswalt's next start is on Monday when the Rangers host the Red Sox.
