    I'll get the ball rolling. Recommend some flicks that were excellent that weren't really popular or lasted long in theatres.

    I enjoyed "Chalk" a movie about teachers in a school shot like "The Office" Movie is really funny and its true too

    The Good Thief with Nick Nolte. Good gambling/heist flick with great dialogue. Nolte at his best.

    Just added a DVD to our collection off the long wish list that the Queen Bee and I have. Picked up Awakenings last night, absolutely love DeNiro and Williams in that flick.

    Here is an objective answer. Open http://www.theyshootpictures.com/gf1...l1000films.htm. Look at the Country column. If you see anything but US in that column then the movie meets the condition you specified.

    While Cinderella Man was nominated for Best Picture, the movie was never considered a serious contender even though it was the best movie ever made by a considerable margin.

    The movie never got the accolades it so richly deserved.
