Default Going with Sandra Bullock for Best Actress

she doesn't think she'll win. umm, well she IS the favorite according to the bookmakers. 8/13 odds. next is Meryl Streep 7/4 - others, no-names.

I don't think Meryl's impersonation of Julia Childs, as well done as I heard it was, is enough for the Academy to pass up the chance to fulfill Sandra's career at age 45 and award her finally with Best Actress. She gave a heart-wrenching, tough and "real" performance in The Blind Side (or so I hear).
These human-interest type performances complete with it being a true-life story with that football player still alive helps her odds too.

Streep has won before, at least once. The others ? well.. nobody cares about them. This is Sandra's baby. at 45 years old, probably her final chance to get a real Oscar and not just a nomination because the stats say they favor under-40.

Sandra is the bet. Payout .62/1 is not bad. It's her turn. Perfectly placed odds.
Not too high (to pay too much), not too low (to give away the KNOWN fact).

Streep was perfect as Julia Childs. The film was bad and the rest of the acting was poor. I also don't think Streep was a big enough part of the movie. Bullock was good but it was an easier role. Bullock will probably win. I think it would be cool if they split some votes and Carey Mulligan gets the upset at +1000.

    it's her turn.
just the other day she became only the 2nd actress to appear in person to
accept a Razzie. (Halle Berry for Catwoman the first)

wouldn't it be fitting for Sandra to win a Razzie and an Oscar in the same year !

Bullock will probably win, but I like the value in Streep at +300.

Oprah Winfrey once again showing what a racist she truly is.

Has she ever done anything in the entertainment industry which didn't focus on her own race?
