There is a tremendous amount of money to be made betting on American Idol.

The more obscure the event, the better the wagering opportunity.

Last year, all it took was 30 minutes of the right research to know that Kris Allen was guaranteed to beat Adam Lambert regardless of how he performed on the final night. Considering Kris Allen was +300, it was the bet of a lifetime.
