Haven't watched this show at all, from talking to those I respect that have watched it, they said Forbes is a justified favorite in this spot.

I'm not really a boxing fan, so I haven't followed this. If you guys see any value though please let me know.

Hey guys,
Long time reader of this forum, first time writer. Forbes I think is actually under valued at -255. I've watched every episode, and although I'm not expert at breaking down boxing I it would be UNBELIEVEABLE if grady wins this thing.
In fact I really can't see it happening. Forbes is an ex-champion and was easily the best and SMARTEST fighter on the show this season & probably for the last 2 seasons. Don't let the lazy eye fool you...he's the man. I'd at least throw him in a parlay to sweeten another solid play.

I have been watching this Contender.
Steve Forbes has been a world champion in the past, and being the favorite here isnt surprising. With is speed and being able to score punches, its hard to bet against him.
But with the scrappy Grandy Brewer at +215, there could be some value there. Because in boxing, anything can happen.
I on the other hand, will not be wagering on this. Im just going to tune in, and hope to see a good fight.

What do you think the proper odds for this are?

I'd say a minimum of 5 to 1. He's a way smarter fighter than grady, has more experince, has fought better, and I'd don't think grady has the power to ko him even if he gets a shot in. like i said, i saw the whole season so i'm pretty biased @ this point. Although i said a min. of 5 to 1 I feel like it's more like -1000, especially since they've had some proper rest. I'm betting this and So. Miss tomorrow in NCAAF. I'm saying their both locks with Forbes the stronger of the two. Feel free to rip me a new one if this falls apart. have a few drinks and enjoy watching an easy win manana on espn2.

if both those take dumpers this will be my last post because the universe will have ripped open turning good to bad, black t white, etc. However, this does tend to happen in sports every so often. UCF may be a little better shot than I first gave them, but still don't see them winning. I think grady's going to have to hit forbes with an elbow to win tomorrw, i still can't believe they even let him on the show. thanks for the welcome...i'll watch how i throw locks around in this joint.

Steve Forbes simply has better endurance. As long as he doesn't lose the first 3 rounds he will win. Thing is, I think Grady has won his fights b/c of his reach. So, I guess I'll go win Steve "2 Pound" Forbes.

When I got home I just look at those two guys and bet on Brweer, he was much taller and more reach, I guess Forbes was a former champ or something, I bought 16 contracts, I don't know what I would have done if he lost the split decision, I could have sold for 90 before the decision, cuz Brewer dominated, but the judges scored it even essentially

good call anyone who was on brewer...i obviously did not see that kind of improvement coming from him in such a short time span, plus forbes did looked off from the get go. thank god for college football or i would be a looking for a high cliff right about now. again congrats to those on grady. I will be sticking to ball sports for awhile.

I was really impressed on how well K9 fought in the bronze medal fight. I didnt think he would dominate Bravo like he did. He had that jab working well with the hard right hands.
Forbes wasnt on his game, and Brewer took advantage of it.
Great fights by both underdogs. Got to love it when they come thorugh like that.
