i have not seen any of theese movies but from the opinions i have read the departed looks pretty strong

most people think scorsese is ALMOST a lock for best director so i think that can't hurt

opinions?

Saw the first 20 minutes of the departed and it looked great. I can't wait to see the rest.

just saw the departed

it was good but i was not blown away

liked it all except the end which i thought was unoriginal. it may have trouble getting best picture. have not seen the other choices yet.

I haven't even heard of any of these movies besdies the Departed....I got a good tip from a guy on here about the Departed...i played it small.

I think though a lot of the sharps are on Little Miss Sunshine....

The only one I've seen is the Departed. It was good but if it wins Best Picture then it's been a really weak year for movies.

Yeah congrats GG...i won too with the Departed. Not sure whether I should be happy about it or feel sorry for myself for betting the Oscars. Looks like I am a degenerate any way I slice it.....
