I know it's based on IA but the trailers make me think it'll be a totally different kind of movie. IA is one of my favorite foreign films BTW.

This is not 100% true. I saw lines for Pitates of the Carb. a month before it opened. Same is true for a few other movies that were expected to be HUGE.

Of course, other than these expected monster hits, BO lines usually come out the week the movie is to be released.

plus the movie's R-rated should affect #'s of ppl that can view it, few other movie releases and good reviews on them + baseball playoffs like sam mentioned. also, gotta assume the line overvalued on the over because of the cast and the director. i was cappping this movie last night.
