Unhappy Billy Powell of Skynyrd is dead

wow, horrible news. I wish I coulda seen him at least one more time banging out some great tunes like Poison Whiskey, T for Texas, Call me the Breeze etal.

One of the best bands of my lifetime is now down to only Gary Rossington and he's already had one bypass, man.

17 years ago, it had been about 17 years since I first saw them. One helluva' show at the old Houston Coliseum which is also dead and gone now
