    Well done to England for holding off for a draw and yes... McGrath and Warne would have put you away by mid afternoon.

    Still 2005 was the most memorable Ashes series for decades because it is the only series where you guys stood up.

    Remember 89, 91-92, 93, 94-95, 97, 98-99, 01, 02-03, 06-07?

    In between that run you did have 05!!!!!!!!

    Ashes is a Cricket Test series played between England and Australia. This is one of the most famous rivalries International Cricket. England and Australia Ashes series played since 1882. Currently England regain the Ashes comfortably beating Australia in 4th Test match which was played in Melbourne and ahead of 2-1 in the series.

    Almost Man for man* England has dominated Australia this series.

    * Only exception has been Hussey V Collingwood. Prior V Haddin is even.
