    I don't know shit about cricket... actually my very first cricket bet... but I sided with the Stars just based on the rapid line movement in the last 5 minutes... going from 1.65->1.53

    How long do cricket matches usually take? lolololololol just needed some action for the late night

    I don't like betting 20-20. It's all about entertainment and results are pretty much a flip of a coin. I would only ever take dogs for this series.

    So is this match over? 5dimes still has not graded the ticket and I don't know if I won the bet or not I even talked to the CS and they literally said "match not over yet" even though the match started 18 hours ago....

    hey MatI do you use BetFair or any exchange sites? Is it common for all 20/20 matches to fluctuate easily and consistently predictable like it did last night with the 6ers/starts match? I could have made a decent profit with simply laying/backing the stars and the patterns were really consistent. For example:

    First ~15 minutes: Stars went from 1.68 -> 1.83
    Next ~15 minutes: Stars went from 1.83 -> 1.50ish
    Next ~15 mins: from 1.50ish -> 1.98
    Next ~15 mins: from 1.98 - 1.80ish etc etc

    It was like a solid predictable pattern of up and down every 10-15 minutes. Thoughts?

    PP, I use B365 for live cricket betting.

    It is fairly common for all Cricket matches to have big swings in odds, especially after a wicket. The same just happened in the Aus/India game. Aus went from 1.20 to 2.00 to 1.70 all in the last 40 minutes.

    That Sydney Sixers game was always going to be a close battle, the majority of 20/20 matches should not be decided until the last 2-3 overs. Stars never seemed to get going while batting so IMO they were trying to get as much money on Stars as possible by making it look like Stars was the play. Also, Stars will always be the big public play as they have Shane Warne, get a lot of publicity, etc.
