My week 3 plays are:

Penn St -26' -110 (BEST BET) WINNER

3* First game outside Happy Valley for the Nittany Lions should be a good one, and since I can't find anything good to say about the Orange, I won't say anything at all. Penn St. in a ROMP. PSU 42 SYR 9

Navy +2' -110 LOSS

1* Run, Run, and run some more should be the gameplan for the Midshipmen (#1 in I-A rushing) and that'll hang another home loss for the Blue Devils. NAVY 35 DUKE 24

San Diego St +6 -110 LOSS

1* At the end of the day I can't see either team going anywhere, but this line to me was 3 points too steep. I am not sold that Notre Dame is anything great, but San Diego St. played as good as you can in a hostile environment. I haven't seen San Jose St play, but their numbers aren't all that glamorous. SD ST 28 SJ ST 27

Oregon -7' -110 LOSS

1* Let's see here....Oregon is 32nd in the nation in passing, 4th in rushing, 5th in scoring, 1st in total yards.....why would Purdue even be considered here? I respect Joe Tiller, and he'll have his team fired up, but numbers do not lie, and that's why I'm on the Ducks. OREGON 34 PURDUE 21

(Lines courtesy of 5Dimes)

Time to get in the mix...

2* Oregon -8 -105 (Legendz) - I'll gladly lose the $$ and be completely wrong on the Boilers but this is the worst team Tiller has put on the field since he's been at Purdue.
1* Fresno +1
1* S. Florida -3.5

Just checking, do teasers count? I am also 1-0 in CFB teasers for +3 units, or only straight bets?

Thanks.

2 strong plays so far...more to come! Missed a few lines like Oregon -7 so I'm passing on those! Here we go!

Ball State/Akron Over 58

I was leaning toward BS -7 but the more I look at the game the more high scoring it looks! BSU is loaded on offense w/QB Davis and WR Love that are good enough to play on Sundays! Akron only returns 5 starters on D but they put up 42 last week and Ball State's strength isn't their defense!

Ball State 38 Akron 30

5 Star Special ****

Baylor over Wash St! Washington State has given up 565 yds and 10 TDs rushing in just 2 games! This young struggling squad goes on a long road trip to Texas to meet up w/a young Baylor squad coached by Art Briles! If you're not familiar w/Coach Briles....he's a high school legend that come up thru Stephenville HS (west of Ft. Worth). They won 38 straight in the 90s running a run-n-shoot attack mixed w/the option and multiple formations! He's a great coach and recruiter that already built a nice system at Houston! I see Art Briles with a top 10 job in the next 7-10 years imo...he's that good and kids love the system! I'll take the better coach at home w/the best athlete on the field in Bear QB Robert Griffin. This is too tall a task for the struggling Pac 10 team thats trying to break in the spread themselves! This one crushes the (-1.5) line so I'm including it in a pleaser parlay!

Baylor 33 Washington State 17
