I know this arguement has been beaten to death but lets get real. From top to bottom, no one is as good as the SEC. And i believe the "out of conference schedule arguement" has very little validation. SEC conference schedule is tough enough. If you have to play FL, TN, GA, SC, and a top tier team from the west, why would you play another good team on the west coast? Or if yo have to play Aub, LSU, ARK, Ala, and a sold team from the east, no need to play a USC, Ore, or OSU.

A top heavy conference is not as tough as solid conference from top to bottom.

I have no "fan" bias toward any conference, but SEC does look dominant TY - Ga, Fla, Bama, SC, even watch Miss St to do better TY under Croom.

You don't need numbers to show the best ncaaf conference. . . The SEC is college football period. Week in and week out, they battle in that conference and no conference hits harder then they do. Its not even close!

Put your money where your mouth is. We are going to go into the Collesium and beat the living tar out of USC, 34-14, you heard it here first.

I get sick and tired of you ****ing haters man. Respect Buckeye Nation for what it is - one of the top tier schools in the nation guys. People get sick of seeing OSU continually near the top of the polls, go pee in your pants and face the tuth that OSU is one of the nations best.

Ok cocksucker we beat UT no matter what the hell you say,
we went into Austin and beat them just like they nipped us in the bud the year prior. Show me other schools that regularly put it on the line with non-traditional out-of-conf games of this magnitude. We also have V Tech, Miami Fla, Okla, and Tenn on horizon with home and aways in next 10 years. We dont give a shit about those tiddlywink schools, bring the giants on. Let me see what pop warner teams your team plays pre-conference you little twit.

You all better start ****ing respecting the nation. All the hating is getting redundant.

God damn 4 times I had to defend Buckeye Nation in here, stop with the incessant hating you ****ing assholes. Remember these names:

Boeckman
Wells
Saine
Nichol
Robiskie
Hartline
Boone
Terelle Pryon (BOOM)
Laurinaitis
Jenkins
Wilson

Y'all are about to find out what OSU is all about bitches.

It is impressive that Ohio State has been voted No. 1 in 20 out of the last 32 polls. What is not impressive is the fact that OSU has lost by an average of 21 points in the last two BCS title games. The Big Ten's avrg. opponent's win % from last year is 54.6%, only besting the ACC (which is garbage btw), and losing to the Big 12, the Pac-10, the Big East, and the SEC. OSU would have lost to Georgia in the title game had the Bulldogs gotten the go-ahead over LSU and who cares what the SEC's out of conference schedule is? No other conference has as tough an in-conference schedule, which I doubt anyone would dispute. The SEC is the most dominant football conference in the nation.

armyoflovers, it is jackasses like yourself that give big 10 backers a bad rep. The big 10 has been down the past few years, just admit that. OSU was not that good last year, and they arent much better this year. Look at OSU vs the top sec team last year (LSU), they got crushed. They lose to Ill at home (who got crushed by the best Pac 10 team, USC) the only reason i can think of that there is an imbalance of power is that big 10 schools acctualy have fairly strict academic req. for athletes, unlike the SEC which doesnt graduate a number of players each year.

either way armyoflovers, say it with me, ILL - INI

The answer to the original question is SEC by a country mile.

As for USC vs. Ohio State, if USC is anything less than -10.5, I would make them a Best Bet. Somebody said they saw -4.5 in Vegas, If that is true, I will be EXTREMELY happy!
