I like Rutgers...
Both of these teams are 7-5.. Someone needs to explain to me why (with no home field advantage) is the spread 10.5...??? Because Ball State SUCKS and does not deserve to be in the toilet bowl....
JJ you should tease Rutgers down and OSU up for 10K...
If this sounds familiar... I have asked it before... I look for these types of lines..

Mendenhall & Williams of Illinois bent Ball St over and let them know the true meaning of Ball State. I see no reason why Ray Rice shouldn't make them his bitches as well.....and Rutgers' pass D is MUCH better than Illinois'.

Why is this game played at this time? It is a bit late in the year for the caliber that these teams bring!

If you can tell me why they're playing an American college football game in Toronto, then I'll take a shot at your question.

Rice runs for about 200 yards and Ball St. keeps it close with a good passing game. Indoors, on carpet, with a healthy Teal at QB for Rutgers, I like the over.

I may be wrong but I think the University of Toronto and the University of Ontario were not Bowl eligible this year. Can someone verify please?

Read somewhere else on this board that his thumb feels as good as it has all year - and no-one even knew it was hurt to begin with.
Key is gonna be if Rutgers Pass D is as solid as they were in shutting down Brohm.

OK. I guess the next logical stop would be an NAIA game in St. Peter's Square?
Also, I foresee RU going on an all-Rice diet in the 2nd half. Them establishing the pass early here is really gonna f with BSU's minds.

Too easy, by the 4th quarter Ball St defenders won't be able to stand up straight.

Looks like we should be all good. You can even give me an RU TD before the half & cover.

Because coaches, even good ones, are afraid to do things that are mathematically best for them because in the unlikely event they backfire the media will hound them.
Example: RU had 2nd & goal at the BSU 1 with 50 seconds left in the half. Almost zero chance that BSU can stop them on one attempt from the 1, let alone 3 attempts. On 2nd down they should run Rice or QB sneak Teel but tell him not to break the plane, then go in on 3rd or 4th down. Why? Because BSU would never had had a chance to drive for that FG if they burn another 30 seconds off the clock. Simple, but important.

They didn't even have to do that... When i turned it back on I saw them get that first and goal... Then on 2nd down they could have ran it almost all the way down... They hurried to the line...
Anyway I might take BSU +3 3rd q and under 14 but not sure yet... Nervous about BSU...
F*ck I tried taking them both and ended up with NONE.... I waited a hair too long... DAMN!

I just don't see anyway they can stop the Rice train if he wants to continue to pile up yardage. And Teel+Britt+Underwood did enough in the 1st half to keep BSU from putting 10 in the box....but we'll see....I've been wrong before.
