This is one of the best matchups this entire bowl season, really interested to see how clemson's rushing attack with james davis and CJ Spiller stacks up against that stout auburn D. Close game here 28-27

I'm going to wait and see if I can get 3 on this game and take Auburn. I've liked Auburn's defense all year (don't know what happened against UGA). The under 48 1/2 may be the best play in this game.

Good matchup...slight lean toward Clemson just b/c I think they will win the rushing battle (a strong predictor of ATS success). We'll see what the line does in the next few days...

Well down here from what I understand, Tuberville has called this game a "true rivalry" as the teams are in close proximity and recruit many of the same players. Both teams are neck and neck in defensive stats but Clemson has a larger edge on offense (see the recent woes with Auburn's O-Coordinator). Clemson's embarrasing bowl perfomrance last year (next to Ohio States embarrasment) insures Tommy "new contract" Bowden will have the team ready. The Peach Bowl match ups between SEC vs. ACC teams seem to mean a little more to the teams than what most of the public outside of the southeast think. This always leads to a well played entertaining college football game. At the end of the day, Clemson will cover the field goal spread.

I think Clemson is a good play, but I think the better play is under, because I'm not sure how Auburn is going to move the ball.

Brandon Cox is the worst QB I've ever seen at Auburn. He can't throw the ball more than 20 yards, he's erratic with his accuracy, and he's starting to look scared in the pocket. Other than that he's great. It also doesn't help that his second most reliable receiver is a fullback.

Whether Auburn can run the ball on Clemson or not is debatable, but I haven't seen the consistency from that part of the AU offense to suggest the Tigers will be able to put together long drives (especially since Clemson will stack the line against Cox). Away from home this year, these are Auburn's yards per rush - 2.3, 3.6, 2.8, 2.4 (Clemson averaged less than 4.4 ypr only once. Granted, the opposition was weaker).

Borges was a doofus, and I'm absolutely thrilled that he's gone, but there's not nearly enough time for Franklin to install his more open offense (and Cox is far from the ideal QB anyway).

I don't trust Kodi Burns any further than Cox can throw the ball, but I'd still rather see him in the game. At least he brings an added dimension with his running ability.

Auburn's defense can keep it close for awhile, but eventually Clemson's fantastic backs will start to find some openings. All the other Aubs around here point to the Arkansas game and the way the defense neutralized Jones/McFadden. The difference is that Clemson has a QB who can actually throw the ball with some effectiveness, while Cody Dick was totally unreliable. And believe me, the weak link in the defense is the secondary. So Auburn either puts eight in the box and gives up big plays in the passing game or plays a base defense and struggles with Davis and Spiller. Either way, I think it's a disappointing end to the season.

This is one game I liked w/AU+, but I cannot get a good grip on now, new O coordinator for AU, too risky IMO.

I'm staying "safe" & not playing now.
