Don't know what to say here. Florida would throttle Michigan if this game actually mattered.

Wow. UM is going to get destroyed. They haven't stopped a mobile QB in 5 years and now they get Tebow? I'll be shocked if UM stays within 17. I'd play the over up to 70 in this game.

i look for michigan to play very inspired with senoirs Mike Hart, and Chad Henne playing in their last game. But at the end of the day Tebow and company are going to be too much. Florida wins here 31 - 23

no way should michigan be playing florida
they don't deserve it and it's a mismatch
they just put it together cause of the big names and the fanbase/money
what's new

I thought the same thing about their game with Ohio State. If they can't get it together for OSU at Home, they are surely going to strugle against Fla.

you kidding? they get to go to fla for a few days in the dead of winter! thats infinitely better than spending that time in michigan...plus it seems like they (michigan) should be accustomed to losing bowl games by now, so i don't see the loss affecting their trip whatsoever
have a good vacation losers

It's practically a home game for the gators. The individual matchups are total mismatches here. I expect a rout by the Gators in the midst of a michigan coaching change..

If someone would have told you at the start of the year these two would be matching up in the bowls you would have thought it would be for the Championship.

On the outside it looks like this...Florida won the 2006 BCS Championship with a coach who is 4-0 in bowls going against a Michigan team that lost it's last two games with a coach that has lost 4 straight bowls. But if you dig a little deeper, you can understand this...Michigan matches up a little better than you think against Florida and Michigan was a top 10 team to start the year but got the injury bug. They will be a healthy team in Orlando playing in Carr's final game. Florida expected this year at worse a BCS Sugar Bowl trip as SEC Champions. They didnt even finish in the top two in the mighty SEC East. Do ya'll remember this situation in the 2005 Capital One Bowl where a seemingly undermatched Wisconsin squad was a 10 point dog in the legendary Barry Alvarez final game against SEC foe Arkansas and beat Arkansas outright 24-10???? I'm taking those 10.5 points and riding out with the Legendary Lyod Carr and Michigan. .gif)

I'm an undergrad at Florida and have had the opportunity to go to all of the home games this year. Don't call me biased, because by looking at Florida's numbers this year and the difficulty of its schedule, it is clear they are the better team on every cylinder. Not only that, they have relative homefield advantage, playing in Orlando. Everyone I know from UF got tickets to the game, so it's going to be mostly a UF crowd. A good friend of mine told me last week that when you give Coach Urban Meyer enough time to prepare for a game, he'll analyze the other team on every level and find out what he needs to do to destroy that team. He's a great coach, and I know he's had the players there practicing since Winter Break started. Just remember what happened the last time Urban had a while to prepare for a game: underdog Florida destroyed Ohio State in the national championship. Heisman winner Tebow will put up big numbers like he did all season.
I think Florida wins by 2 touchdowns or more

With his size, accuracy and arm strength Chad Henne is going to be a very good NFL pro style QB someday.

You think so? Ive never been a fan of Henne. I like Mallet much much more. I know im alone with this statement - Henne is obviously more polished, but I see much more talent in Mallet as a fish than Henne as a Senior.

Mallet and Henne are pretty similar QBs and in the limited amount of time ive seen Mallet he looked good and has a heck of an arm. Henne has played an awful lot of high college football and is very sharp, when healthy of course.
Mallet will be transferring out of Michigan.

I had to stay away too. FL is much better, but too much emotion in this game for Carr's last game.

how about that...4 turnovers and Michigan still wins SU by 6. Should have won by 3 TDs or more

Good. Thought the turnovers would come back to haunt them, by UM deserved to win this game. Would have been a shame if they lost.
Only bad news for UM: Manningham was likely already gone, but with Arrington's big day he will prob. also turn pro. His one-handed grab by the sideline on the winning drive was one of the best catches I've seen all season. Arrington can thank a pathetic UF secondary for improving his draft grade and padding his wallet considerably.
Mike Hart: Stop talking. Great player... your play speaks for itself... no need to get involved in that crap.
Hoping against hope here, but Rod should immediately outbid Louisville to retain Ron English as DC. Won't happen, but his loss will be felt.
Conversely, if DeBord opened up the offense like this in years past he wouldn't be searching for a job right now.

so true
i'm pretty shocked michigan just moved the ball at will vs florida
they could have easily been over 50 if hart did not fumble twice on the goaline
