LSU vs. a sacrificial lamb is the short answer. When it's all said and done I think we'll see LSU vs. Kansas. I think the SEC championship in Atlanta will present a bigger challenge to LSU than any potential national championship opponent. While they may be the most classless school and program of 25-30 major colleges I've been to on a gameday weekend, they've just got too much talent not to destroy their opponent this year...

If Missouri wins out it could be Missouri and LSU, unless LSU loses to someone. This has been a crazy year.

Call me crazy, but I'll go with Oklahoma vs. WVU. I think LSU will lose again, Oklahoma will win out and WVU still has two top 20 opponents in the Sagarin Ratings left on the schedule.

I'd like to see Kansas vs. WVU. Screw tradition! It's the year of the underdog!

Oklahoma wins outright Lsu loses then you have to look at a team that has a conference championship for the #2 team Mizzou wont beat Oklahoma I would like to see a rematch of Oklahoma and Lsu

I got it all figured out. Knowing how crazy this season has been I expect it to continue and all this will take place:

LSU looses to Arkansas
Oklahoma loses to Texas Tech
Kansas loses to Missouri
WVU loses one of next 2 games
Missouri loses in conference championship
Ohio State loses to Michigan
UGA loses one of next too.

ASU gets big win over USC moves up
Florida and Texas win out but are jumped because:

Clemson dominates rest of season and wins ACC in a blow out - they move up each week and find themselves ranked #3 at end of season but controversially find themselves in the National Title game.

ASU vs Clemson meet in National Championship game..

Next season the NCAA Basketball tournament selection committee is employed to select the teams for an 9 team playoff at the end of the season to determine the national championship. The #8 vs #9 will be a play in game that will be competing after short rest in their next match up vs the #1 overall seed.

As is always the case, I'll be cheering hardest for the teams most likely to throw the BCS into complete turmoil. It's a shame that one of the best sports in this country has the most antiquated and pathetic methodology for determining its champion.

I am definitely hoping Kansas goes undefeated and doesn't get invited.

I don't see how that's possible, but good luck with your endeavor.

I also don't see how there could be much to argue with if both LSU and Oklahoma win out from this point on.
