Curious about one thing. I remember your posting that you look for dogs that you think can win. I'm the first to say that precious few results surprise me in CFB, but you single out Northwestern -onthe road - and Minnesota !! as plays this week. That surprises me.

Hey Pags, whats your opinion on Kansas/Iowa State? The line is currently -26 for Kansas. I think that's too many points to give to an improved Iowa State team who have won 2 games in a row and kept Mizzou and OU within 14 points. I'm really liking Iowa +26 right now.

Is this WVU/Cincy line off in your opinion? I know the Mountaineers are # 5 or #6 depending on which poll you look at, but the Bearcats are tough as nails @ home! I think this line looks too good to be true... I'm still gonna play it though! I like most of your other plays as well!

I do like the way ISU has been playing and that is a ton of points...however, I got my first taste all year of being stung by Kansas and at least for this week I don't care to go against them again...GL to you...

I had the line between 4.5 and 6, so I felt 7 was a fair number to grab...I am really, really impressed with Cincinnati's speed on defense (as well as pretty much everything else they do)...GL bro...

Ky did beat Vandy last week after an off week to heal and prepare. Ky probably had more fans there than Vandy. You would have thought it was a home game listening to the crowd noise on the radio. It just was not a true road game. When you look at the stats you would think Vandy should have won by a couple of TDs. A couple of missed FGs, missed extra point, and Vandy had the ball near the goal line at the end and didn't score. Ky's back Little got banged up again as well. IMO this was a deceiving win and deceiving score for this game. Vandy dominated the game in every aspect except the final score. Ky is digressing.

Georgia looked solid to me. I don't think +8's enough.

thanks bud...I don't follow the MAC or Sun Belt very closely, so I don't have an opinion at all on Buffalo or Ball St...I think MSU is in for a bit of a let down after last week's win...that being said, I'd have a tough time laying double digits with a Houston Nutt coached squad, so no play and no opinion for me in that one...

appreciate your thoughts...yeah, I thought the spot set up perfectly for Vandy last week (although I couldn't back them) and I was impressed to see Kentucky escape with a win...I have read reports on Little (although he's just questionable at this point), but Locke is back fully healthy, as is Keenan Burton and Dicky Lyons...I will get more into it in my write-up this week, but I just think this sets up nicely for Kentucky + more than a TD...GL to you this week...

slightest of leans to both Indiana and MSU...read above my thoughts on MSU...I can't back OSU again this week after a horrible push and a tough loss the past two weeks, but I do believe Baylor has mailed it in...I have to respect how hard Washington plays each week, so I can't go against them, but I can't say I'd take the points vs. a talented Cal team (especially with Locker probably out for this game)...GL this week...

read above my thoughts on MSU...I've made some money with UNC this year and like how hard they play, although I just think they are finding ways not to cover games now (where earlier in the season it was the opposite)...that being said, I can't lay 10 with Chan Gailey at the helm and very average QB play...a no play for me...

pags I don't like Kansas State since they got clobbered last week vs. a terrible Nebraska team, I see they do have revenge on Missouri from last years 20 point pounding but I think Missouri remembers when they racked up the points a few years ago against them and I don't think Missouri is going to forget that either. I think Missouri wins this by 14 or more actually. I might be wrong because they could get caught looking ahead but I do think Missouri is much better than Kansas State is currently and Kansas State got beat so badly by Nebraska.

Pags, I can't go with you on Kentucky either. I think everyone will be on Georgia this week and they will be overvalued if it was a normal situation. However, Kentucky has Tennessee at home next week. The TN game is a huge game for Kentucky. As a matter of fact, it will make or break their season in their minds. It is their most hated rival to them including Louisville. I cannot back Kentucky knowing this. I think they go on the road and lose to Georgia by 10 or so. That being said, I look for Kentucky to beat TN straight up next week because they now have the talent to do it.

I like your picks. The Maryland pick seems to be almost unanimous... at least on this site. I like that pick as well.

The one I don't like is Kansas St +7. I don't know if I'll play Missouri because 7 points is a lot to give up on the road but I really like them to cover. Missouri has played very solid on the road with their only loss vs OU, a game they should have won. If the Missouri D can shut down Nelson I think they will cover because there is no doubt in my mind they can put up points on a very pedestrian K St defense

I've also followed this UGA very closely and one has to wonder how much they have left in the tank after big wins vs. Florida and Auburn...also, if you watched last week's game Brandon Cox's decision making cost Auburn the game...I don't see Andre Woodson doing that this week and the TD + helping of points will keep the backdoor open all day long...more to come in my write-up...GL to you guys...
