Is this the biggest upset ever in College Football?
37 point underdogs. Does anyone remember a bigger upset?

Dark Horse there was no line in that one vs. Michigan a few weeks back. As far as a lined game, I haven't seen one for quite some time.

No Dark Horse, App State was "only" +30.5. I was thinking along same lines as OffshoreGambler as I don't recall a 38-point dog winning outright, but I will go back and see what I could find.

This is the largest ML favorite to lose in college football that I've even seen.

I didn't have a line for App.St, but I couldn't tell the difference between a 30.5 or 37 pt dog anyway. lol
All I know is that the Michigan loss was definitely talked about as biggest upset ever. If that 'record' lasted two weeks, so be it. I'm not buying, though.

fuuck dat. I think it was 1985 and Oregon St was 37-38 pts dogs to Washington and won something like 20-16. Now thats a huge fuucking upset.

The biggest upset I could find since 1985 before today was:
Temple (+35.5) 28, VIRGINIA TECH 24 in 1998
======================================== =========
army,
Oregon State was +33.5 when they won 21-20 at Washington in '85. Not too shabby.
======================================== ========
Now my software only goes back to 1985, but I THINK that Syracuse (symmetry in motion?) MIGHT have been like +41 when they upset then #1 Nebraska back in the 70s.

This is bigger, app st should've been even less of a dog than 30, probably about 17.
The media is just insanely stupid. They were also thinking Michigan was a top 5 team them too, and they clearly are not.

I didn't know they even had lines up for that game LTProfits, thanks for the information. That one in 1985 was bigger though.

Louisville is just terrible. No defense at all.

I thought they were terrible too elliott, they don't have anything for a defense this season.

The Big East is under rated. Although... there is some good inside info in the NCAAF forum for why Uconn will stink it up tonight. Line back down to 8' Uconn

I don't think it is. We all know how bad the Louisville defense is. Syracuse just showed how no matter how bad your offense is, just play Louisville and you will look like a offensive powerhouse.

It does not seem like it is the biggest upset, but according to raw data it looks clear as day.
