The more facts and informaiton you can get for a particular game the better...even the most trivial information can't hurt. This trend does show that A&M doesn't have a history of going 4-0 two years in a row and I am sure that could be said for most college teams.
hhsilver, I didn't see any useful information from you on this game....did you decide to write a comment on one thing I pointed out that you didn't care for? Your post would be better if you gave us with who you thought would win or what your leans were in this game...that's what this forum is for isn't it? I still like the over and A&M for tonight.

I think it was obvious that you were quoting someone else's writeup and that you weren't capping the game. My comment about a capper using such a useless, but interesting ( and I did say it was interesting), trend was not directed at you, but rather the person you were quoting. You were only the messenger and believe me, I was not trying to kill the messenger. I get annoyed by write ups (and again, I know it wasn't your write up) that use such trivial stats/trends as a tool for picking a winner. This one struck me as one of the more outlandish. But it brought back memories of those great A&M teams of the mid 50s with All Americans John Crow (Heisman ) and Charlie Krueger. A little nostalgia is good sometimes.
I did thank for bringing us the other info in your quote. The returning starters and Miami's game against FIU were very pertinent and, in fact, are not trends. Again, thanks for that.
