Default Week 1 Plays

Ones that I have played:

Mississippi State +18.5
Iowa -12
Notre Dame -2.5
USC -44.5
Texas -39
Cal -5.5
Troy +24
Nebraska -19.5

Two others I am debating......one of which is more just waiting for a more optimum line.

here is a funny one, most people think that since appalachian state has a great team in Division II that they have a chance to cover -26 against Michigan at Michigan.

Let me put it another way for all to think about:

What is the margin of victory you would think, if the top 5 Div.II teams played at the home teams of the top 5 in Div.I, Now that should scare some guys off Appalachian.LOL

skank,

I believe that they are I-AA and I actually think they have a legit shot in covering in this one (especially with Lloyd Carr's conservative ways)...won't be betting it, but these guys are pretty damn impressive...

Exactly. I'm a big UM fan, but pags is right - Lloyd's not going to put the ball in the air when they're up by two scores. He'll be perfectly content to hand the ball to Hart and Minor 40+ times and secure a 31-10 type win. I'd stay away from this one.

Solid card sirwinz. Good luck.

I just hope Hart can keep that little engine running.LOL He might be my only hope! A loss here might force me to keep out of Le Palace here in Panama for an entire week! Now, that make me Nervous!!!!!LOL

Michigan always scares me when laying big #'s because of their offensive style. They never just air the ball out, which I think they could do with Henne.

Just hedged my Notre Dame -2.5 bet, and rebought it at -2. I see this game being close so I will get the best line on Notre Dame in this game that I can.

Well maybe I am using incorrect terminology, but I bought LSU -18.5 to in essence cancel out of my first bet. Then I took Miss St. +19.

umm... are you misunderstanding what he's saying?

He's still has MSU as a pick... but instead he just cancelled out the +18.5 and got +19 instead.

Not a big deal... he just doesnt wanna lose on the hook.
