I took KU+5 to cover and total team points 22, +1/2 in first qtr and second qtr. Obviously I think KU is going to control this game. Toledo has allowed a total of 76 points in their first two games and KU has scored a total of 70.

Could someone explaine how the "Money Line" works?

Also, I use "The Greek" sports book. Anyone have any recommendations for a better one?

Pinnacle is probably the best if you win. The games start at -104 instead of -110. The don't have too many bonuses though, so if you lose and reload a lot, you might want to look for a book that will give you extra money.

wsex.com is good for tv games, you can bet after the game starts and bail out if you start losing. for example, right now Toledo just punted down 7-0 and you can take Kansas +5.5 -222 or Toledo -5.5 +177.

The money line is based on a $100 bet and theres no point spread. If its minus, thats how much you have to bet to win 100, if its plus, thats how much you win for a $100 bet.

Brusher, the ML bets just have to win the game, no spread.

So if the ML on the game was +150 , and you bet $100, you win $150, plus your $100 back.

I hope that helps, not to sure on what else you need to know about it.

I actually got TWO gifts last night...I had Toledo for the full game -5.5 and Toledo first half -2.5. I shouldn't have won either bet. Sometimes the gambling gods look down on a person. But it all evens out... Guaranteed everyone that took Toledo will lose one in similar fashion later in the season.

stil trying to figure that Toledo/ Kansas game out...is Toledo's offense better than I thought or Kansas's defense worse?...

I would say Kansas' defense is pretty bad, but not that bad. They should have won that game by two TDs. Kansas has a terrible QB. He threw four picks, one that was returned 70 yards or so for a TD. Toledo just got plain lucky. This is a time where watching teams play will come in handy in future handicapping. Toledo didn't show much offensively. They got a defensive TD, they got a hail mary TD at the end of the first half. Their winning TD in OT was a 25 scamper against a visably deflated defense that saw their offense notch turnovers in the both OT periods. Toledo's coach is so confident in his kicker he elected to go for it on fourth and goal from the 25 in the first OT rather than try for the 43-yard FG.
