Default Texas Tech is (24-1) since '92 when favored by 10 or more pts.

Is the money line a safe bet on them?

I'd estimate Texas Tech's chances of winning to be 83%.

Granchrow...do you teach at Harvard or MIT by day and bet on sports at night?

I mean I have a pretty solid background in research methods but I doubt I could ever come up with some of these figures the same way you do.

Keep posting man...it's good to have guys like you aboard! A lot of quality posts from you!

The 83% figure was a joke. The inside line is 475/-600, implying a roughly 83% probability of TT's winning after shading ever-so-slightly in the dog's favor.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm not a teacher, nor would I likely have the patience to be one. My field is quantitative trading.

far from mathematical/scientific, but didn't the Prick take Tech? That alone is enough to make me wary.
