Default Cotton Bowl Pick

Texas Tech is paper tiger, and should not be favored for this bowl. I take the dog Ole Miss +5.5. Hope I can cash this one out. Good luck guys!

GatorFan,

Everything I see power ratings wise and statistically points toward a Texas Tech cover plus a home field advantage. However, I can't seem to get the Alabama-Texas Tech Cotton Bowl game out of my mind a few years back. TT won the game (I think) but it was an absolutely abysmal performance by both teams. I don't know why but it always seems like one team always comes out flat in the Cotton Bowl (sometimes both teams). I used to chalk it up to start time on New Years Day (10 AM CT). I think this year the game is on the 2nd so that may change the outlook by both teams.

Plus I do think Houston Nutt is a solid coach and I tend to think that, if one team comes out flat, it is much more likely that TT comes out flat than Ole Miss.

I'm taking Ole Miss ML in this game.
The only thing Texas Tech proved to me this year is they pad stats with weak OOC schedules and drink the juice before games in Lubbock. I'm fading them and Mizzou and I'm as big of a Big XII homer as you can possibly have around.

I think Ole Miss, GTech, and Iowa are 3 teams not a lot of people wanted to see in their bowl matchup this year because of how they played late in the season. I just can't decide if the Big 12 offenses are that good or the defenses are that bad.....

The offenses are that good.

I'm still taking Ole Miss ML in this game though.

I like Ole Miss although Nutt has been poor in bowl games. But they beat Florida, so good enough for me.

Plus, Leach and Tech 0-3 ATS as favorites in their last 3 bowl games.

Isn't Houston Nutt 2-5 in bowl games or something like that? Also, if Tech gets up in this one don't expect Mike Leach to let up. This guy is an absolute ass. I saw a clip after a game when reporters were trying to do interviews with the opposing team and coach after the loss and Leach was screaming "Go Raiders" at the top of his lungs so loud they couldn't even finish the interviews. You could tell it made the other teams' players very upset, but he kept doing it. Over and over, just shoving it in their faces. Something to think about anyway...by the way, I have no affiliation to Texas Tech.

All of yall are on the right side but Cougar Bait. Trust me on this one Cougar. Don't put money on Texas Tech. If you still like Texas Tech don't bet it and just watch the game. If you win rub it in my face. I'll lose a lot. Be back to my original bankroll but I'll take it like a man. But seriously Cougar I'm trying to help you out.

Ole Miss ML and Ole Miss +5

Okay. If I lose, I'll only lose 1/30th of my bankroll. You plan on putting 80 units of the 104.5 that you have on one game. I'm sorry, that is just not how I gamble. If you win, you were right. But, if you win you weren't smart to wager that much regardless of the payout. Nothing is certain.

Yeah I know the consequences of my bet. But this kind of opportunity does not come along much in gambling. And I'm serious about that. I can't believe I have doubled my bankroll in 2 weeks. Good luck to you on your other bets.

I happen to like Ole Miss SU in this one, but putting your entire bankroll on it, OR any other game for that matter, is not something I would endorse. Although I probably have made a few too many 20 and 30 Unit plays this year. BOL

We were also on a different side in the Arizona/BYU game. But, I think that was the only one.

Wow, im surprised everyone is doing mississippi. im going opposite w/ T.tech.

T.tech will blow them out by 2 or more TD IMO. I have seen missippi play.. their offence is just okay, their defence will be run over by t.tech.

beating florida was like o.state beat usc.

im in T.tech big!

I had BYU as well, they blew their chances in that one. Probably the worst called bowl game of the year as well, the refs were terrible against both squads.

if 83% of the public is pounding Tech why the hell is the line moving down instead of going up? the play is Ole Miss plus the points! This is a trapp to get you to keep unloading on Tech!

Not Exactly,

Yesterday
63% of the action was on USC (SL)
37% of the action was on USC (ML)

Today
86% of the action is on T.Tech (SL)
55% of the action is on T.Tech (ML)
