Florida will stomp Oklahoma
once again the SEC will show dominance
I feel sorry for Texas but after Oklahoma gets crushed by Florida Texas will be glad to know they will have one more win than their rival Oklahoma.
its hard to shut up teams like texas and Usc if you dont ever get the chance to play em ,
Alabama is the 2nd best team in the nation, and I feel would probable have the edge if second chance to play florida even playing a healthy Harvin.
but they want and here in Alabama we want get that chance , but would love to play any other team that thinks they could have any chance beating our team..
oh well thats the way the cookie crumbles
I will never say it again if I am wrong but no one could compete with alabama or florida out of the sec

Fla will not stomp oklahoma. I am an SEC buff also but I believe OU will be in this game all the way. Fla has the edge on defense but I'm not sure the secondary will be able to hang with the OU offense.
Both teams should be able to move the ball with ease IMO.

The only problem we have from a match-up standpoint in the secodary is height. Both Haden and Jenkins have developed very nicely. Jenkins will be a SEC first teamer next season for sure. Ok the real problem for our secondary is anytime Wright has to be in coverage. I swear the kid is great against the run and will absolutely knock your friggin head off but he has no clue in coverage.
That said though, no disrespect to Oklahoma I mean Stopps was a Florida guy and the Sooners are a great team but Florida will win this game by 10+. I realize that will sound like a homer call but I haven't shown that all season and I'm not doing that here.
The clincher for me was how Florida handled the size of Alabama this past Saturday. I had serious concerns that it would wear our guys down. Sure we are the faster team but being undersized you would think the size difference would counter the speed eventually. It didn't Florida was actually stronger in the second half. I don't like getting over hyped about my team and I have been critcal and downplayed them all season but I have to admit...............they are just that good.

With all do respect WAL and you know I respect all of your veiws,We have yet to see Florida play against an offense like this.I don't know.There are matchups that favor each side here which makes this thing so interesting.Who gets the most pressure with their defensive front will tell the tale IMO.Going to be lots of fun!

OU has the better defensive line now that Auston English is back.
It's easy to tout a defense when you aren't playing against Big XII level offenses all season. The storyline at the end of the game will be the Sooner defense, mark my words.
Fluff away at Florida, it's the reason I'm getting a little extra on the ML and I appreciate that guys.

This game reminds me of Nebraska vs Florida for the National Championship. NU won 62-24. Everyone was talking about how the fun and gun would score all over NU. HA! To say that Oklahoma will get STOMPED is just crazy talk. Should be a high scoring game..... first one to 50 wins. lol I like OU 54-31

The SEC leads the Big 12 in all-time head-to-head match-ups with a 20-17-0 (.541) record.
IMO the SEC is a tougher conference from top to bottom. HOWEVER, I really believe the top 3 in the Big 12 are far superior to the top 3 in the SEC. We all knew Alabama was overrated and would get crushed by Florida. I dont see ANY way Florida beats OU. |

The thing is were not running the fun n Gun and nebraska had a top 3 D ..... That was the Difference so get that right OU is ranked 59 in total D ... FLorida Plays D now.... And Florida has the 3rd high scoring offense and 1st scoring Defense and we play second and 3rd stringers OU has had starters in the game till the clock expires all year... we could of hung 100 on SC/KEntucky/Vandy Citadel/Tenn so funny u guys hang 60 on baylor and Kansas mizzo those D's are in the low 100's FSU/SC/Kentucky/Vandy/FSU all top 25 D I cant wait to watch you big 12 buffs cry for being so nieve.............

You think Bradford has a slow release. That is the pot calling the kettle black. Have you seen Tebow throw? Here's another news flash for you, Bradford wouldn't be expected as Top 5 NFL pick if his release was slow.
You talk about Florida making OU run.....Oklahoma does have 2 RB's with over 1,000 yds each and 34 rushing TD's. By the way, both RB's average over 5.5 ypc too.
As far as OU's D being suspect, Oklahoma is #1 and Florida is #2 in the nation in Turnover Margin. Oklahoma is also #3 in the nation in sacks. You don't get 40 sacks with a bad D-Line. By the way SC had 29 sacks, FSU had 37, and the vaunted Bama D you speak of has 24.
One more little nugget for you, the best TE in college football wears#18 for the Sooners. He has 58 rec for 888 yds and 12 TDs. |

I do realize that year in year out the SEC typically is the best conference, but come on dude. The Big XII is far superior this year.
How do you explain your ridiculous statement that TCU would beat OU with a healthy Dalton? He play virtually the whole game and OU was up 28-3 at half. I think the OU/FU game will be a classic and it will be pretty dang close. It's foolish to bash one side or the other. |

USC is only giving up 7.8 ppg. How is Florida the #1 scoring D.
I like how you just randomly make things up. Bradford has sat out over 220 minutes of the seasons games. Thats over 3-1/2 games of action. The Sooners 3rd string RB has almost 500 yds rushing and 6 TDs. |

I agree with all of this, except that the best TE in the nation wheres #87 for your in-state rival, IMO. Slow year due to a nagging injury, but he's better and will go higher in the draft. |

I actually think Bradford has a quick realease. One thing I can say about Oklahoma is I never seen Bradford on the ground. Now I think thats because of the BIG 12 Defenses but we will see on Jan. 8

1. I love how your analysis is so one-sided towards the defenses being horrible, rather than how good the OU offensive line is.
2. OU's defensive line (with English back) is better than UF's.
3. Big XII defenses are underrated, due to how great (and I mean GREAT) the offenses of the Big XII are.
Storyline of the game will be OU's defense. Mark it. |
