Anyone think Florida is giving up to many points agaisnt SC this weekend?
21 points is the spread now. I can see this game being alot closer than anticipated. SC has a good defense, head and shoulders above GAs D thats for sure.
Having a mastermind like Spurrier on your side doesnt hurt either.
I gonna wait and see if the lines goes up any.you know the public will be on FLA to cover.

just remember that betting against Urban Meyer, especially at home, is hazardous to your health...watched the entire Florida vs. Vandy game last night and at the end of the game he was totally nervous that they weren't going to cover, was still very intense...hard to go against coaches who are in the running for a BCS game that are also spread conscious...I understand the perceived value here with South Carolina this week, but it's not worth it in my opinion to make a play on them...

I like SC also. Spurrier just has his team ready for big games. 24 is way to many points. Thats about what Florida was favored over Vandy. I wouldnt be surprised if SC has a chance at this one. Florida may be hearing all the talk about them being the best team in the country and then being 24 points over SC. Good luck.

I have debated this game all week and I've come to basically the same conclusion that Pags did. The fact that Florida not only needs to win, but if possible, win big, is scary. They have the BCS title game as motivation, and the players to do it. Wouldn't kill you for playing it though cause it was an early lean of mine. SC's D is great. GL if you play it!

I understand what Pags is saying and respect his opinion tremendously.
Urban is a scumbag coach and trys his best to embarress opponents if at all possible. I even bet the 2nd half of the Vandy game counting on this angle and than the scumbag pulls Tebow for the entire 2nd half.( 1st time all season, Kentucy game Tebow played untill they had a 45 point lead)
But I fell SC has a defense that can keep the game within 21 points barring any big mistakes in bad field postion. If anyone has a chance to stay with FLA this year I think its SC and Bama.
dont know yet but I'll make the desicion before gametime and see where the line stands.

I had to take SC here at +23. It's dangerous but anytime you've got a team getting 23 that hasn't allowed more than 24 points all year it's tough to resist.

Going against Meyer is definitely hazardous to one's health but now that BCS beauty points are no longer necessary we may see Florida let off the gas (if they are even in a position to do so) for the first time this year.

If Meyer covers this one than I'll just tip my cap and move on.

I'm with Pags on this one. Plus Meyer would love to pound the excoach to show who is in charge. South Carolina scores 10 - 14...the question is how many does myer want to score...I could see this 42-10

Pags nailed it. I'll start by saying I'm a florida alum and huge fan - I'm a no play as the spread is too big.

This said Urban knows who pays his hefty salary - the boosters. Boosters bet on their team. Urban likes happy boosters. He always chases the spread late if it won't hurt a win - look at Miami game.

Anyway - I wouldn't call me a scumbag, guy is a positive force on campus but he shrewd about the lines. He'll let Moody get some minutes late to grab an extra late score even if he's up 21.

Good Luck - I'm flying to this game so I look forward to blowout of Spurrier.
